I honestly wish I could give negative stars. I saw that they had good ratings/reviews and wanted to try a new place for dinner last week. It was a decision I regretted. When I asked about gluten free options the staff somewhat knew what was gluten free, but then would second guess their answers. I even called ahead to ask about gluten-free options and they said that they had some. The food was not good at all. I got the chicken tacos with the corn tortilla and extra side of rice. The chicken was dry and burnt. The rice was cold and didn’t taste good. Lastly, the corn tortilla was semi okay. The only good thing was the key lime pie. That tasted more like a cheesecake than key lime. After eating the food I felt sick and threw up. I do not recommend this place even though you see good reviews. Absolutely gross and a waste of money ????
Idk what just happened. After having to correct what I ordered, I was served watered down queso, almost as if they did half queso, then filled the rest of the container with water. I've never had any issues at CV before, I guess this location is not up to standard.

I ordered food on 2/17 through their mobile app and I had my partner pick it up only for the employee to give the incorrect order. I called the store and told them I was on my way back to get my correct food, they were about to be closed is why I asked if I’d be able to get it still. To which they try telling me they can refund it and all I wanted was to get my food, got handed to a manager and then she just said the drive thru will still be open. Got there about a hour after I originally ordered my food and said explained the mix up to the drive thru person and they said they will have it made up for me at the next window. Got the food and got home which isn’t more than 10 away and realized it was way cold, not remade and was just my food they didn’t give me in the first place. Left a review from the website on the receipt, they got back and fixed the problem and I was very happy. But then I go in on 3/7 with my partner. I ordered mine on the app in the parking lot so I had service. We went in right after i had ordered so he could in order in the store so I can use another reward point as it wasn’t wanting to do both of ours. He ordered some steak nachos and got the queso on the side as we can’t request it like that in the app to my knowledge. He usually gets all the toppings as well but right after it got out of the oven it was already packed up in the bag. We didn’t realize this because I had the app open ready to scan when it logged me out suddenly and didn’t want to load. Because of this we didn’t think much of all of it and just assumed he had put it on but I guess that somewhat our fault but at the same time why didn’t you ask. That and when my partner was ordering I went the register and told the male employee I had a pick up and told him my name. He checked the paper and then walked off so I assumed it just wasn’t mine. Turns out it was cause I was later handed the bag once I finally got the app to work. Nachos were alright and would have been awesome with the rest of the toppings. Mine was a little watery from the tomatoes. I don’t think I can come back to this location and don’t think the app is helpful like it was before. Please work on these problems.
Costa Vida NEVER disappoints! Food is awesome and if you have celiac disease, no need to worry about getting sick, they are trained to be carefull.Dietary restrictions: They are very careful with Celiac Disease customers. You can eat safely here!!!
The enchiladas, tacos and burritos were excellent. The bathroom and floors were sorta dirty. Could have just been the number of customers. Maybe next time they will be cleaner. The service was great. Portions were sufficient for the price.
Costa Vida is WAY better than Cafe Rio (CR) in all the following ways: Much better prices and they let you pay for meals a la cart. $11.49 for sweet pork quesadilla with beans and rice or $8.99 for just the quesadilla. Costa Vida gives you a generous amount of meat and cheese that they spread evenly across the quesadilla and even manage to cut the quesadilla all the way through! (You know what im talking about) AND, their sweet pork tastes far better than CR. It's a shame there aren't more Costa Vida locations around. This place is an absolute favorite of ours, consistent and delicious no matter which location we've eaten at.
Good food, but the staff were messing around while I sat waiting for my food to be made. I had a mobile order, but still had to wait over 20 min. Ordered a kids meal but wasn’t given the drink. Go to a different location.

absolutely terrible every single time I come here. always cooked wrong and the drive thru is awful and always gets my orders wrong. the nice ladies at the valvista and baseline location would NEVER let this happen at their establishment. I refuse to come to this location and this is exactly why. I gave this location one last chance today and they made my order wrong again along with my friends order. This food tastes like it was cooked by frogs over a swamp. I will never be giving this location my money again. I'd rather starve then come to this location again.

They were low staff on the delivery drivers, and the owner himself offered to drive the food to us. I work for A1 garage door service in Phoenix and had a large order. I am so impressed and very appreciative of the owners response. An amazing experience as far as customers service goes.
