We wanted to like this restaurant - live in the area, loved the restaurant this replaced (Cuisine and Wine Bistro). There were some highlights, but the entrees were disappointing. Chorizo croquettes, crab cakes (special) were very good. Loved their chardonnay option (Olelo) - yum. The caesar salad was disappointing. The steaks were some of the worst I've had - flavorless. Even the sauce they smothered it with didn't help. We also had lamb stew, which was okay. Soda bread was very good. Overall some hits but some major misses. Since we live nearby, we really hope they work on improving consistency across all their menu options. Based on our experience we would consider this place for wine/appetizers but not for dinner.

Love the outdoor patio. Perfect for appetizers, cheese board and drinks. The staff is great and have treated us so well each visit.

Fantastic food and great wine! April was so awesome she takes great care of her guests. I highly recommend any of the dishes pictured. If you're looking for a great date night or just appetizer and drinks with friends this place is perfect!

Outstanding! Don’t be like me and avoid this place because of the name and what looked like a limited menu. The specials change, the environment is fantastic, and the food exquisite! Glad we finally tried it!

Excellent! We will return! Martinis, Rye Manhattan and an Otono (Bourbon cocktail with vermouth & sherry) Deviled Eggs Crab Cakes Charcuterie Board Spicy Chicken Sandwich Chorizo Croquettes Chocolate Souffle Michael is a great bartender! Chilled our martini glasses and all of our cocktails were perfectly balanced. Food, cocktails and service were right on!

Excellent food. Just tried a few starters and all were excellent. Limited selection on beer, more of a cocktail place. Prices are a bit on high side, but relaxing atmosphere is a great place to catch up.

We’ve been to B Gastrobar a few times and I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant. The staff is absolutely wonderful and the food is unique and amazing! Great place for a date night or to gather with friends. You won’t be disappointed!

We met friends here last night for dinner. Our first time. We ordered crab cakes and escargots for our appetizers. We enjoyed both. The escargots were crowned with toasted bread on each, and cooked in a savory sauce individually. Crafted with care and unbelievably delicious! All five of us ordered the halibut special, (which was cooked inside phyllo with shredded carrot(not sure of all the ingredients, just so good), and set on the plate surrounded by a white wine reduction sauce, which was enjoyed with each bite. Wow! This halibut dish makes my top 2 list for halibut entrees I've ordered in nice restaurants, and since we live part time in the northwest, we have access to plenty of halibut so I've had it prepared many different ways. If you are a halibut lover and this dish is available, try it, you will be amazed. We finished our meal with a chocolate soufflé, prepared perfectly. I would also give our waitress( sorry, forgot her name, tall and dark haired) a shout out, great service and very nice, attentive to water and beverage refills, and just pleasant. This is the second restaurant we have tried that is owned by the same family, Copper and Logs was the first, both are outstanding in their crafting of good food, as well as atmosphere and service. We are winter visitors and always looking for great restaurants that are chains. Please try B Gastro Bar, it is now on our "great restaurant " list.

I am shocked that this place isn't packed all the time (maybe it's the location?). The food is exquisite. Unique enough yet tasty & balanced (not weird and off for the sake of being unique). Everything we enjoyed had a beautiful presentation, was fresh & delicious and a joy to eat: fried brie, meatballs, salad, lobster Mac, burgers, fries, burgers and chocolate suffle. Kudos and thank you

Atmosphere is uniquely pleasant & enjoyable. Prices are a bit high with also unique menu choices. We had the hamburger & my friend said it was one of the best burgers she's ever had! She said that with almost every bite & she is NOT one to compliment. I think there was one waiter on Saturday night!

I live in the neighborhood and come here about once or twice a month. Love the atmosphere. Laid back, quiet, comfortable, intimate setting. I've seen ladies and men feel perfectly comfortable sitting alone at the bar, enjoying cocktails and food. The menu is small, with different specials. My guy loves the French onion soup. It's absolutely delicious. I've had the jalapeño poppers, omg so good!! The charcuterie board is well done with yummy cheeses and meats. Next time I want to try the deviled eggs. The burger, and the salmon sandwich are very good with fresh cut fries I usually go for a wedge or the goat cheese salad too. Both are fantastic. The owners are very nice, he's French and she's Irish. So very nice!! Great staff, who want to make each diners experience a great one. The chef is the owners son, classically French trained I believe. They have 3 other restaurants in chandler and Gilbert. Recommend for ladies night, date night, and family gatherings.

Came here for Arizona Restaurant Week. The restaurant is located at the end of a strip mall. The restaurant looked perfect for a gastropub. For the first course I got the french onion soup with cheese toast. This was the worst french onion soup I had in my life. Not much onions. The onions were not caramelized. The soup base tasted very light. The cheese toast that came with it was delicious with a nicely toasted bread with a nice layer of cheese melted on it. The next course was the salmon and spinach wellington. The salmon had no flavor. The spinach looked like it was just added to the salmon. I expected the spinach to sauteed with other ingredients to give flavor to the spinach and salmon. Lemon hollandaise came with it, but it didn't have any punch to cut the blandness of the dish. The puff pastry that wrapped the salmon and spinach was nicely baked leading me to believe the dish would be delicious, but I was wrong. The last dish was the chocolate souffle. It was basically what other restaurants call their lava cake. It was not a souffle at all. The cake structure was all wrong for a souffle It was good. The center was liquid surrounded by a chocolate cake structure. The service people were really nice, but not that good. They forgot to bring utensils including napkins to the table. They would take away the utensils from one course and forget to bring utensils for the next course. It seemed that all the tables around us were just getting drinks and appetizers. No one seemed to be ordering from the Arizona Restaurant Week menu. Their appetizer menu looked pretty good.

Don't sleep on this wonderful neighborhood spot! I cannot even begin to express how wonderful my experience was. We ordered the quiche, the chicken sandwich, and the fried Brie. Everything we got was amazingly delicious and very fresh. The ambiance was also perfect, it was a quiet and romantic meal. We sat inside, but the patio was also large and spacious. We will definitely be back, but as regulars!

Spending some quality time visiting family, and we decided to go out and try B Gastrobar! Our first impression as we walked through the door was really positive. We were immediately greeted and given our choice of seating. Overall just a really pleasant atmosphere and vibe, I really like the decor. Bar was well stocked and looked super inviting, and the restaurant has booths, tables and patio seating. We sat inside to beat the heat! The menu was really diverse- both food wise and beverage wise. Everything from escargot, burgers, "draft cocktails" and wine. Lots of good sounding options and I felt like there's something for everyone. All in all I'd really recommend checking this spot out. Great vibe and good food.

Great french food! I went for restaurant week and ate on the patio. My wife and I loved the food and environment. The pork was juicy and came with an intensely flavored sauce. Love this place.
