I recently dined at Dragon Wok Chinese restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The dishes were made with fresh ingredients and were incredibly tasty. Walnut shrimp delivered a sensation with a creamy sauce and candied walnuts. Mongolian beef was savory and cooked to perfection. Honey chicken was crispy and sweet. The house fried rice was packed with a healthy mix of vegetables and proteins: chicken, pork and shrimp. The prices were on par and fair for the quality of food we received. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. Enjoyed conversing with the owner, who truly is passionate about delivering the best. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Chinese cuisine in a welcoming setting.

I wish I could rate the all categories an 11 out of 10.There is something about this place that I haven't found anywhere else, the synergy of the ambiance, the food, and the service make for an exceptional experience. What really blew me away, and ultimately brought me here for the review, is their absolutely decadent, delicious, and heaven-sent walnut shrimp. I have traveled over 1000 miles with almost nothing in mind but the thoughts of that life changing walnut shrimp. With all the places lowering either their quality of food, service, or general experience altogether, it's a breath of fresh air to see places like Dragon Wok still exist in today's time.Thank you to the owners and all the staff for the commendable work as always, I'm already looking forward to my next return.

Excellent food! The best Mongolian beef I’ve ever had. Beef was exceptionally tender and flavorful. Our other dishes were just as good. Shrimp were succulent and plump, chicken tender and crispy. Veggies were cooked perfectly and of premier quality. Everything tasted so fresh and we are so happy to have come here. We will definitely return for more even though we live in Tempe. But this food is worth the drive! Hands down 5 star quality.

Love the shrimp and cream cheese rolls. This time we got the meal for 4. All of it was delicious. We live in Peoria, so we will be looking forward to the next time we are on that side of town. Also, supportive of veterans.

Went to Dragon Wok with my father on New Year's Eve at his request. The place was clean and the staff was very good. However, you will not get what you pay for here. Everything is extremely overpriced. I hate it when restaurants are so cheep with items for customers, then totally overcharging them at the same time. Not cool. First you will notice that almost NOTHING is under $10. Just the drinks. And even the drinks almost come to $5 a pop. Even plain hot tea. A Chinese cheep staple. I got one hot pot of water and ONE (1) measly teabag. Other places shove 3 to 4 bags or more in a giant pot. Not here. You get ONE (1) cheep generic tea bag in your huge pot of water. $5. I had to wait for my one tea bag to seep to make tea for so long the water got cold. Husband got a Diet Pepsi in a medium sized glass. Next my husband and I ordered 3 total appetizers, one soup and one entree. I got the crab puffs. It said CRAB puffs. What I got were FOUR (4), just four small, bland, tasteless cream cheese blocks (no crab, imitation crab nor crab flavoring - not even green onions or anything else added) wrapped in small wonton wrappings and deep fried. $11. Most other places give you double that for a few bucks less. Not here. My poor husband got the variety appetizer set (5 whole items) for $15. All items were really tiny and flavorless. Except the skewered beef. The two bites of that super paper thin slice were good. My $10 Hot and Sour soup came in a small bowl. It was pretty good. It had two shrimp in it which was a surprise. I had to order it without the peas and carrots. But then I found out they add peas and carrots to EVERYTHING else. My 4 little lettuce wraps for a whooping $18 had peas and carrots. A LOT of them. They use them as a filler. Once I picked most of it out I only had enough filling for two lettuce cups. So they pad the dishes with cheep filler as much as they could. Other family members got other dishes and they were full of peas and carrots. Not the sesame chicken my husband ordered. No peas and carrots in that one. However, the breeding outdid the chicken pieces. Heavily breaded. About ten oversized breaded pieces for around $20. Flavors were standard at best. It was more bread than chicken. Nothing to overcharge like this. To sum up, for two drinks, three appetizers of minimal quantity, one soup and one entree, plus tip, we dropped a little over $100. Flavors were ok to standard, if you were lucky enough to get any flavors. Our usual place we like to go to has much better quality of food, normal quantities and real hot tea for half that price. If you want to spend a lot of your money for minimum value go here. Send the owner's kids to collage or pay for trips to the casinos or help him get a vacation house. If not skip it and go somewhere else.

The food was extremely bland. There was no flavor at all. I ordered potstickers, Mongolian beef, chicken fried rice and pung wok chicken. The chicken in both the entree and the fried rice was very white without seasoning as seen in the pictures. In the description I saw it said “spicy” but nothing was spicy or flavorful. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I spent $70 and it was not worth it. It’s extremely over priced for the food I received. Great customer service and it’s very pretty inside but the food has no flavor. My whole family including the children did not like it and said it needed more flavor. Definitely do not recommend this place. My overall rating 1/10 and the one is only for the aesthetic and customer service.

I've been coming to this place for over a decade and it absolutely never disappoints. I'm just sorry it has taken me so long to write a review! It's my favorite little hidden gem. Everything I've ever had at Dragon Wok has been absolutely outstanding. Some favorites are the crab puffs (mind blowing and in no way equal to other crab puffs elsewhere), the egg drop soup, the egg foo young, the moo goo gai pan, and literally ANY shrimp dish. I love the fact that their shrimp are cleaned well, tails removed, and large. To me, this shows that a restaurant cares not only about the quality of what they serve, but the presentation and customer experience. You also get a lot of them! The owners are also very nice, as well as the entirety of their staff. I cannot recommend this place enough and try to go every time I'm back in AZ.
