The food is always amazing and the service cannot be beat. I always have the avocado torta but my husband is a little more adventurous and he tries different things every time we come. This time, he had the pork carnitas with the barracho beans and he loved every bite. We had plans so didn’t have any margaritas this visit, but those have always been delicious! I would strongly recommend trying Isabel’s and we’ll definitely be back when we’re on that side of town.Vegetarian options: As a vegetarian, I crave the avocado and cucumber torta. It is my favorite thing on the menu and is always perfectly prepared.

I was excited to try this place but wouldn't purposely return. It's cute inside and out (nice patio and heaters) with a nice bar too. But...unimpressed with the quality and taste of food. It took forever to even get drinks and an appetizer. The chips and salsa were meh at best. Our server was unhappy and mostly unavailable.

Have been to Isabel’s many times. Never disappointed until tonight. First time trying happy hour. Web site says happy hour until 6 pm. Sign on table said 5. Waiter said 5. Not off to a good start. 3 small chilmmis with virtually nothing inside needed a microscope to see the taco and street corn was

Great food and service

Had a great meal here last night. The wait was longer than what we were told, it went from 25 minutes to over an hour. We wanted to sit outside and kept hearing "soon" but a larger table was not vacating their table. Not sure that's the staffs fault but it was frustrating. Ambiance is good, nothing special. The service was good once we were seated but nothing special. The food did come out fast, hot and everyone's order was correct. I ordered the Presidente and I really enjoyed it, everyone was happy with their meal. Price was great. Great value for what you get. We've been here before and we will be back again for sure. Keep those prices down, maybe get more staff, like another bartender, we waited so long for drinks. But overall a great experience, they are victims of their own success.

Wow this used to be my #1 favorite Mexican Restaurant, but I know someone has changed the menu, and not for the better. I used to buy their chips and salsa on a regular basis. It used to be that good, now someone has changed the salsa in, and enchilada sauce ingredients, and the taste is for lack of a better word HORRIBLE. The only positive thing is the service is good. The food flavor not so much. Valle Luna, here I come. Sometimes it's best to stick with the original ingredients. Very Disappointing!!

We were there on Valentine's Day and they made the evening special- Live music, a rose at every table, and Valentine themed cocktails. I ordered the vegan tamale plate. The tamale was delicious. I think they should do something to make the presentation better. Open up the tamale and put a sauce on top and/or some fresh toppings. Instead of a boring salad, maybe give some steamed or sautéed vegetables? Our server was excellent.

Isabel’s Amor is an Awesome little hole in the wall place in Gilbert. Great atmosphere and phenomenal food. Bri was Awesome and very knowledgeable. She recommended the Tres Amigos tacos and she was spot on. If you’re ever in the Gilbert area make sure to stop by and ask for Bri. You won’t be disappointed.

We had an awesome lunch today thanks to Bri’s recommendations! I had the “tacos amigos” and was also able to sample a couple of draft beers before making my decision. Bri kept the chips and salsa coming throughout. We will be back, thank you Bri!
