Called in a decent sized pick up order, and was very happy we did! All the food was super fresh and hot, large portions, and those new cool plastic containers that actually can be used for leftovers (which there was plenty of cause of the huge portions) instead of those old school white boxes.Even with the 10 minute drive home, the food was still fresh and not super salty or greasy like a lot of other places (when the sauce coagulates on the bottom is so gross to me).100% will be ordering here again soon.

Dine at your own risk. Under New ownership, food is horrible! So bummed, this used to be the best carryout i ever had. Went from best to worst! Fried rice was mush, generals chicken was half raw. Wont be going back.

Updated review:I'm sad to update this as this restaurant used to be my favorite place to get Chinese food. They no longer have a wide menu anymore, as this is what I loved most about them. I'm not sure what happened, but they closed for a week and reopened with this new menu. I haven't found any other place that's like what Jia used to be. Jia stood out and was afforable for how much they gave. They used to open at 11 am and had a lunch special. They used to have a dinner special starting at 3 PM. Both specials included egg drop soup, an egg roll, crab puff, and whatever main course you ordered with whatever rice you wanted. They also used to give out free platters after hitting a certain amount. I'm unsure of why they changed, but I'm hoping at some point they're able to revert back. No other place is able to offer an all-around great tasting menu that was vast, affordable, and big porportioned. This restaurant is the best! We ordered yesterday. The lunch combos are delicious! We've ordered 8 lunch specials for everyone home, and got a free platter for spending over $40. I ordered the orange chicken, and my husband had teriyaki chicken. Let me tell you.....both meals were to die for. The spring rolls are pure bliss and the wontons are amazing. The egg drop soup became my favorite; it's very tasty and filling. The meats weren't dry and the rice wasn't oily at all. It's all pure heaven :') They gave out an awesome portion amount and weren't greedy about it like some places (you get what you paid for). We'll be ordering here again I'm sure of it. Also, since a pandemic is occuring, the restaurant set up a pick up stand. It's very convenient, and I'm thankful they set that up too!

The food portion is amazing with cheap prices! The service was amazing and got food in 5 minutes! The menu is very simple and the food tastes great! Definitely coming back for more.

I don't want to negatively impact the restaurant too much, because they were so good before they closed and reopened.Just disappointed by their limited re-released menu. Had been one of the best places to get Sweet and Sour Chicken.Unfortunately, with the changes, we will have to look elsewhere for the elusive dish.

Great food and the food came out so fast. I got so much food for so little. Definitely coming back! Also the front counter person is so handsome and kind, I wish my son was like that!

New ownership. The old owners were awesome and so friendly. New owner is rude and doesn’t care about customer service. They got rid of most of the menu and don’t even have the basics. What a shame because this used to be my favorite go-to Chinese restaurant. Won’t be going back.

First time here the other day and it was pretty good! Generous portion size, if you get the dinner plate though I'd recommend the white rice the regular fried rice is not good and very plain! Also the customer service was nice but pretty hard to understand... We were also confused when there was no dine in option boxes stacked in dining room so be aware of that

We order 4 meals with extra sides, 2 meals completely wrong. The food honestly was just okay. Bland ... should of saved money and drove closer and just ate Panda Express

We love this little place! Service is always friendly and Jia always remembers me. Food is always hot and delicious. We LOVE the Salt and Pepper chicken, orange chicken, chow fun, and the best moo goo gai pan sauce. Also worked in restaurants for years and came to Phoenix from Detroit. Absolutely best Chinese restaurant around. We tried them all!

We have lived in the area for 2 years. Just spotted this great place for take out. Portions are huge, enough for 2 meals. Friendly employee takes your order. We were VERY satisfied and will be returning soon. Wish we would have spotted them a long time ago. Very delicious food.

The food was wonderful and they also sent free spring roll and egg drop soup. And it was at my home quicker than estimated time! Would definitely order again!!

Our food was delicious! I would say the best Chinese food I've had since moving to PHX from NY 15 years ago. We got pretty basic things. The orange chicken was different than I've ever had it, thin chicken pieces with light batter and the sauce was delicious. The chicken lo mein was excellent and the egg rolls were so good, they both had really good flavor. 10/10 will be going back.
