Went into shop today after ordering 2 sandwiches by phone. After going in still had to wait a long while before sandwiches were ready and the shop was not busy, this was early afternoon on a weekday. Shop was dirty and disorganized, bugs and dead roaches everywhere, dusty and sticky. Had to call several times to get an answer and no employee available for a while after getting there. This shop usually has good quality food, bit now is terrible, just terrible. The sandwiches we received were very low quality and very messy in preparation. The bread was burnt, the meat was old and chewey and and little sauce and vegetables just thrown in there haphazardly. The food was bland and disgusting. Food was bad and so was the service. Just unacceptable. Will be calling corporate.

I'm sitting in the store on val vista next to lady Jane's rite now, there are dead roaches on the floor, the table I'm waiting at is nasty sticky and the steak I saw him throw in the oven for my sub looked absolutely disgusting. It looked old and dry. I wanted to walk out but the kid behind the counter looked too fragile for me to say anything.

What a cool place. First time in and the crew was really friendly. I felt very welcome. Great selection of sandwiches and mine was delicious. Hats off to Thia and Shelby for making me these great Sandwiches. Oh yes, I will be coming back.

Really disappointed. I wanted to try something that wasn’t a chain, like all the other shops. Waited inside 15 minutes on a Saturday at 1pm, and no employees were present. I don’t leave reviews often, but this bad experience had to be shared. Really unfortunate, won’t be coming back to try it.

Giving y'all 5 stars now before eating there because you have responded to each review explaining the staffing shortage due to covid. That is quality effort to get the word out regarding hiring issues across the US. You're letting the neighborhood know that you are aware of challenges and have some pain points right now that you're working on. Exactly how reviews should be handled. Ordering from postmates rn.

Planet sub you would think subs of course. This palace has a hidden gem that I'm going to share. They make Açaí Bowls as well, and let me tell you they are fantastic. If your looking for a nutritional powerhouse of health stop in here, and order your açaí bowl. Full of vitamins and antioxidants to keep your immune system top notch. Like my mind. Be prepared to drop some coin though they are a little pricey in my opinion. However we'll worth it in today's climate of inflation. Hope you enjoy as much as we do.

Worst experience ever!! Don't go here, you'll be as disappointed as I am. After hearing my friend rave about how good Planet Sub is, we decided to have it for dinner. The location nearest us had permanently closed so after her telling me again how great the sandwiches were, we called in our order and made the 30minute trek to the Val Vista location. Upon arrival there was 1 person ahead of us who had ordered 2 sandwiches and only 1 person working. I can attest to them baking their bread fresh each day, because it was as hot as an oven inside the location. As we waited 20 or so minutes to pick up our call-in order, sweat was rolling down my face and back. I have the deepest compassion for the employees here as they are literally working in a real sweat shop. Now, for the food. It was terrible!! My friend's husband was supposed to have sprouts on his sandwich and there was lettuce instead. My friend's sandwich was missing the vinegar and oil. There was hardly any meat on any of our sandwiches and the bread was dried out and hard. And, the provolone cheese and red onion I paid extra to have on mine was nowhere to be found. I basically had bbq flavored bread to eat. Extremely disappointed with my one and only visit here but am glad to know I'll be saving on my gas budget by not making the 30 minute trip again.

Used to go here all the time (2019 to 20), went once a few weeks ago (April, 2021), got 2 sandwiches and they went really light on the toppings. It was pretty much all dry bread. Didn't used to be this way, probably won't return

The one time I try this location and they screw up and take zero accountability for their error. We made an online order and I paid 2.39 for a drink. The person who picked up my order for me did not know there was a drink on the receipt and the person who worked there obviously didn't care enough to read my order. I tried calling right away asking for a refund for the drink and he said I had to go dispute it on the app. Dispute it where? There's no where to dispute it. I tried calling. Emailing management. Messaging on Facebook. Absolutely no care or response. Sure it's 2 bucks but it's the principle of it. I won't ever come back to a place that steals from its customers. Refund me and I will delete my review. Until then..

Came here after not receiving our usual order from our go to sub shop. I'm so glad we stopped in! Fresh homemade bread made daily! Fresh crisp lettuce, spicy banana peppers and quality lunch meat. We found our new go to sub shop!

I have always liked planet subs, I brought my wife and son here today 2-18-21Unfortunately had a bad experience, which is rare at planet subs, no soups, only 3 chip selections, the ice tea literally tasted like sewer smells, the employ gave me new cup and hopefully cleaned out ice tea container, no napkins, they him gave us paper towels(which is fine) bathroom had zero toilet paper nor paper towels.Very sad, this is an excellent place to eat, one of my favorites, I hope any one who ate hear today was not discouraged, if the owner is reading this, please talk with your employees that were working here today.
