Food prepared promptly and perfectly to order. The gentleman who was expediting the orders was the sweetest and kindest human we have encountered in a long time at a restaurant. My daughter went up by herself to ask for something and she came back all smiles because he was so kind, so much so, that then my son then wanted to have his own interaction. Dubbing room was spotless, smell free and totally enjoyable.Kid-friendliness: Whoever the gentleman was at the counter, give that man a raise and let him train others! He made such a positive impact on a rough day. Thank you.

Burgers always seasoned perfectly, vegetables crisp and fresh, love that they give you the freshest ingredients on your burger. Gilbert location is my favorite because of the oldies music they play. Queen Creek needs to change their music it doesn’t fit the decor.

Ordered a jumbo chilly cheese dog, it wasn't jumbo and the chili wasn't very good. The fries were good.

Coming from a Chicago suburb I went to Portillos since they opened the first store 10 minutes from me. I ate there twice a week. This is a new restaurant. Small hot dogs are nothing like Chicago's which was Vienna all beef. I had a combo.beef and sausage with green peppers on the sandwich.and guardinaire on the side. It was delicious. Got it dry with beef juice on the side. There fries are my favorite. Well organizedFriendly and knowledgeable staff. I'll be back often!

Food is excellent, and inside service is ok, don't mind the vulgarities coming out of the kitchen. Although the drive thru is HORRENDOUS, PLEASE let me look at the menu and not order 5 cars away. I'll take the awkward walking next to the car and even recommend they take the other orders so I can peruse the off pamphlet menu. They have seasonal things like a peppermint shake and desserts you don't see on that little pamphlet. It's no In&Out simple menu, just want to order and not have a FOMO when it comes to other yummy treats. Sorry for the Rant, I really wanted to add a shake and or the other strawberry dessert they had. When I asked to add at the window I got contempt and was told "why couldn't you just order back there" under his breathe. RUDE. Won't be going back, Whataburger is right there, and Costco serves a mean dog. Just saying, there's options...Parking: Abundance of spaces

Oh Boy

I’m from the Chicagoland area, and Portillo’s has been one of my favorite places to eat for years now. I was so excited when one opened in Gilbert. Have been three times now, and I’ve ordered the same thing all three times: Large cheese fry, large chocolate cake shake.Fries are fries. Portillo’s fries are crinkle cut, and on the saltier side, which makes them some of my personal favorite. The cheese is also served warm, and in a slightly smaller container than it used to be served in (but that goes for everything now). It is also, unfortunately, not midwest cheese. That’s to be expected. The Chocolate Cake Shake. Arguably Portillo’s magnum opus. This is where I have a gripe: This location absolutely *pulverizes* the shake, to the point you don’t get any chunks of cake. Part of what I love so much about the chocolate cake shake is the variation in texture, and the rest of the slice shoved into the bottom for you to eat later. But of all three times I’ve come here, only once have I gotten the truly authentic experience of the whole slice in the shake. The decimated bits that resemble chocolate shavings are all that are left of what would’ve been a truly magnificent Portillo’s experience.I will be back though.Wheelchair accessibility: The main lobby is wheelchair accessible through a door to the left of the main revolving door, and the patio is also technically accessible, however I did not see an automated button for it so it may be difficult for someone in a wheelchair to access it
