Rudest pharmacist ever. Extremely condescending and seemed unconvienced to help. I immediately switched pharmacies because of that one employee.

This morning, I stopped by Safeway to pick up something on my way to work. As I was headed to checkout, there was one cash register open, along with the self-checkout. The customer who was at the register was leaving, so I chose to go to the register instead of self check out. When I got to the employee(Teri), didn't look very happy, so I asked her how her day was going. She then proceeded to tell me how it would be better if customers like myself would use the self-checkout instead of making her do something I was totally capable of doing when she had other things to do. She went on about how I was inconveniencing her throughout the few minutes it took to check out. I was stunned and quite frankly, it ruined my day.

I was accused of cheating about the sale avocados. There was two different sizes and the larger ones were mixed with the smaller ones and the larger ones didn't have a sign on them. The produce people didn't put a sign on the larger ones. Bad customer service. Most of the employees same to hate their Jobs there. Sad!!!

Generally I have had a good experience shopping at this Safeway, but during Valentines Day, they raised the prices of a dozen roses from $12.99 to $21.99. I'm a frequent shopper and buy roses every week or two, I was turned off that they decided to raise their prices tremendously for one day. It's not nice to do that to loyal customers when you're blatantly raising the price by almost double, not just for inflation or cost of living. What's even worse is that they picked the better looking roses and were charging $40 for those and what are normally good looking roses for $12.99 were horrible looking probably would only last a couple days before wilting.

Just plain sad! I've lived in the area of Eliot and Val Vista for 30 years. Prior to Fry's being opened at warner and Val Vista, we were loyal customers. Over the last 10 Years we've seen a steady decline.However, while I now do most of my shopping at Fry's, the Safeway meat department has always been full of super helpful butchers. Their meat also has been great. Today, not so much!Went in to have some ribeyes cut, and the butcher told me he had to weigh the meat before trimming off the fat. I questioned him about it, and he repeated that I have to pay for the fat, if I wanted to get it at the special price. Of course that makes zero sense, and I still thought I misunderstood him. After weighing the meat, sure enough, he started trimming off the fat and putting it in the tray. I asked him again why I would be paying for something thats ending up in the trash? He just repeat it, "you have to pay for the fat if you want it at these prices." I told him to stop trimming. if I was having to pay for it, I might as well leave with it.I stayed to talk to the store manager, and ended up talking to one of the underlings. She was completely worthless. Never offered to compensate me for the fat that I just paid for. Mind you, run a talk in a small amount of fat. I would say at least a two pounds.You would think with all the competition, Safeway would make sure this was made right. Apparently they just simply don't care.Also, another couple overheard the conversation with the butcher, and told me that they would have had a much larger issue, if it had been them. So this wasn't isolated to just my experience, others were involved.I'll be doing my shopping at Fry's.

my first time here and second time to a safeway ever and everyone at this store has an attitude problem and is rude. i asked the self checkout guy questions about coupons and he looked at me like i was stupid and was supposed to know what i was doing as if i worked there? check your attitude of the staff, especially the younger ones

WORST STORE EVER! They are ALWAYS SO RUDE!!! I have NEVER had a good experience here and I WILL NOT RETURN! Prices are always posted wrong and they get shitty with you when you bring it up. The bag boy CRUSHED my Mother's Day flowers and the florist gets an attitude with ME?!!! Screw this store. Don't waste your time. You want to over pay... at least do it where they aren't assholes.
