Ordered thin crust pizza, brought out the regular crust. Flavor was not bad however the pizza crust had no flavor and took away the quality of the pizza. Crust was very chewy. Good news is I was able to give the pizza away to the worker at the convenience

You order up front and they give you your drink. Then you sit down, and they will bring the food out to you. They will occasionally check to see if you need anything extra. I had the small pizza. It was good, but I was very surprised that the pepperoni's were buried under the cheese. Reasonable prices and you get enough to eat.

We went there with our neighbors for her husband’s b-day. Our first time. Not a fancy place, but clean and everyone was very friendly. I had spaghetti with bread which was enough to take some home. It was so good. My husband had the Italian roast beef sandwich which was huge! We took 1/2 of that home too. We will be returning.Jan and Jerry PetermanMesa

The best pizza you'll ever have in AZ. Toppings under the cheese, I love... Talk about mending flavors. In my opinion the best combo is pepperoni, sausage and mushroom. The pepp and sausage cook the mushrooms. The mushrooms naturally saute in their one of a kind oven. If you haven't seen their pizza oven, you need to. No other pizza is cooked like this. Aside from pizza, they have the best red sauce you will find at a restaurant. I make my own sauce, but when you don't have time, their sauce is second to none. My relatives from Chicago freaking love their Italian beef and my wife loves their chick parm. As an Italian, I have never been to a better Italian restaurant. Personal, family owned, attention to detail... The best in my opinion.

This was some of the best food I've ever eaten. Our party enjoyed pizza, salads, lasagna and gnocchi with a huge meatball. You order at the counter. Our salads with fresh bread and butter were promptly delivered. I ordered a small Salerno's Special salad that could have easily fed two people.I failed to get pictures until we finished eating. We went here because our friends knew about this family owned business that also has locations in Illinois. We were not disappointed and hope to go again.

It’s been awhile since I ate here so when a friend wanted to meet for lunch, I was looking forward to it. I tried the Italian Beef sandwich this time and it was the best I’ve ever had. The sandwich was huge and the au jus was incredible.

We hired Salerno's for catering for our wedding and they were worth it! The food was delicious, hot, and prepared perfectly on time for our guests. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how good the food was. We highly recommend them for any catering or for even going to their in-person location for the food alone!

Not the fanciest but love it if you want Italian and not break the bank. We have used them for work parties and everyone loved the parm chicken.

Finally made it here for lunch and was like being transported back to the long gone Italian neighborhoods of Chicago. The food was simple and delicious. I had the chicken parm sandwich with fries and a drink for $15. Can't beat the price and gravy (red sauce) was outstanding! It was served on a classic Italian roll that was crunchy outside and tender inside. They make their red sauce fresh on a daily basis and recipe is a family recipe from Italy. They also have a tempting selection of sweets including cannoli's which I almost bought to bring home. They carry jars of Marconi giardiniera which they sell and also make their own Italian sausage. After the lunch hour ended, I sat there talking with 3 other customers and the owner for over an hour. It was truly one my best experiences for a simple lunch that I had in years.

We tried Salernos based on the great reviews and since they are close to our home. We ordered a regular pizza and a think crust pizza, both pepperoni and cheese, the dough on the regular pizza was dry and bland, my husband said it was like school cafeteria pizza and we thought they had forgotten the pepperoni on both pizzas because we just couldn't even taste it. Won't be back.

This is a family owned place. They are from Chicago and their pizza is truly Chicago! It reminded me of Beggars. The Calzone is huge and looked awesome. They have a bar for beer and some mixed drinks and fountain soda. I highly recommend
