Today was 1st time in. It is a small family owned business. I was hesitant to go because I didn't want a fast food meal. I definitely say that you have to go here. Everything was great. The refried beans and rice are great. Each of the dishes were seasoned well. All of my items were very well prepared i had the Alpastor bowl and chicken enchiladas. Go try them out you won't be disappointed.

Unfortunately I am never going to come back to this restaurant again. A little overview, I supported this local family owned restaurant since it opened. We averaged a family of 5 eating here at least once every two weeks. Spending typically $75 each time. I also tipped very very well, since there were usually young people or the owner working the register. I’ve never had a problem with service or the food here except this last time. I picked up my order right before close, and when I got home I noticed it was completely wrong, 3 burritos were made completely wrong, and our 6 sides were missing. I called immediately and was very polite. They said they would take my name and next time I came in they’d make it right. Well, I’m here now and they said I would have had to bring my original order back to have it made correctly, (never mentioned) even though it was after close. I let them know very politely I wasn’t told that and disagreed. The young lady wasn’t interested, although it was her managers decision she shared. Even after being a regular and never having had to complain about an incorrect order, I was treated poorly. Not a way to do business. I won’t be back.

I ordered take out from here. I’m 9 months pregnant super hungry craving rolled tacos. First time eating here and I pick up my rolled taco and there’s a hair on the bottom & one in my beans. Super grossed out. Won’t be eating here again.

Love this place! This is good Mexican food and they do have 2 locations one in Mesa as well called Tosino's but this one in Gilbert is the best. Owners are awesome, nice and welcoming service. Small cozy ambience, I feel like I'm home when I go there. My families in Cali so this is nice.. Food is delicious. I get the enchiladas combo and also the super nachos nice and filling. I have to share them it is a good size portion. Authentic and fresh to order. I've become a regular and all my friends love this place. You want some good Mexican food, go here. Prices are affordable and very clean place, even the restrooms are A1.

Tacos come with pico and guacamole so I asked for them to be plain and add cheese. They wanted to charge a $1.00 extra each for the cheese even though I didn’t want the pico or the guacamole. Lol so I changed my mind and had them put the guacamole and pico on the side just to prove a point. I went home tossed the pico and guacamole in the trash. It would have been cheaper for them to just add the cheese. Avacodos cost more then a tiny amount of cheese. Regular Tacos are priced at $4.25 each.
Food was great the tacos reminded me of another good restaurant for mexican food. I hope to try there horechota next

Comically small burritos for $10 each. The food is good but the portions aren't worth the price compared to other shops in the area.

Ive eaten here a few times. They changed the name to Tacos Elegante and raised prices. The Chicken in any menu item is pretty bland. The Salsa's both green and red are mostly tasteless. Seems like they use possibly chile de Arbol and tomatoes in the red salsa and thata it. No seasoning at all. The carne asada fries are a pretty good meal but they've raises the price on those feom 9 to 12 dollars. The carne is fairly bland. The tacos dorados are spot on. Pulled beef, seasoned and tastes excellent. The al pastor meat is seasoned perfectly, extremely good. I would recommend the tacos al pastor. Seems the prices have raised across the menu about 30%. I know inflation is high, but not that high. All in all, prices are in line with market value for the menu items. Just really need to work on the chicken and beef and salsa flavors. Staff is mostly quiet, no smiles or greetings, just take your order and take your money. Definately not assimilated to western culture. They need to work on that also. This place has potential. I hope they can do a little better, I'd like to go here and enjoy the rest of the menu.
