We had limit at the drinks and then manger came and said it was an error because she didn’t know the rule it wasn’t on what we were drinking be then we paid and tip our tab and we try to order zipperita to go and said they could sale it to us because we were passed our limit, found that funny after paid out $500 dollar tab off, will not be returning.

This Zipps really made a mistake by hiring this new manager Joe! This guy is a creepy clown. We’ve been going to this location for 20+ years and the recent experiences are just odd. Day 1, he came out to the patio to tell the group there’s no smoking on the patio. Fine fair point, the problem was we were not smoking on the patio, we chalked this up to a mistake, no issue. Day 2, he comes out to tell us the same exact thing. Our response was the same, we are not smoking on the patio for the second time. Day 3, he comes out to tell us, guess what, the same exact thing. This time however, he threw another little nugget in there. He said, ‘ this is a family restaurant’ , which is absolutely insulting. First, we don’t smoke on the patio, this simply doesn’t happen. Second, the party was a group of educators and principals of schools. I guess that’s not family friendly in good old Joe’s eyes. He likes to come to tables, conduct awkward conversations and accuse parties of things they are not doing. He’s a clown and not a good fit for the community, he can take those tacky gem stone necklaces elsewhere. Clown show.

This neighborhood Zipps is beyond the best in the valley. Kenzi is always very helpful and we ask for her table any chance we get. Great local spot!
So I love Zipps, but I will NEVER go there again. I’ve been going for years now with my family. Last night (on my birthday) I came in at 11:15pm for my favorite drink (a Zipparita). We came so late because I worked a 12 hr shift, was tired and hesitant on even wanting to go out. My husband convinced me, so we went to Zipps for one drink. As we walked in we were bombarded by a man who worked there telling us they are not serving food anymore. We told him that is fine because we just came in for ONE drink, I knew they closed at 12. Then, he sat us at a table around the bar because there were no seats at the bar and told us a server would be with us. A few minutes later the server came over took our drink order and walked away. Then, 10 minutes later this RUDE blonde guy came over (I’m guessing was a manager) and told us he would not be serving us our Zipparitas because my eyes were red. I was stunned, I have never in my life had this happen to me. My eyes were red because I was tired! Both my husband and I were completely fine, not stumbling or slurring our words, they didn’t want to serve me because they thought my eyes were red?! I was in such complete shock I didn’t even know what to say, I just got my purse and walked out with my husband. As I was walking out I noticed the sloppy drunk people at the bar who they were in fact still serving alcohol!!! My husband and I never go out, and the one chance we do this happens. The slimy guy who denied serving us had completely no customer service. He was extremely rude and arrogant. I think they didn’t want to serve us because it was close to closing time, and they didn’t want to be bothered with us, the server wanted to leave. Will follow up with a complaint to the store about the rude blonde guy. No one should be treated with such disrespect.

They do not even deserve the 1 star!!! Tonight we went with company out of town to celebrate a birthday and the service and food was horrible!! We waited 2.5 hours for all the meals to come out after many, many mistakes. They blamed it on being busy. 1. Food was cold and made wrong and not just once but twice. 2. Service from the servers was horrible. I was told to take my food off my friends plate and switch it since they mixed up the order. 3. Management was rude!!! Told us after waiting 2.5 hours and making the orders more then once wrong that we had to send it back or they were still going to charge us. We needed to feed the child with us and ourselves since it was almost 9 at night that we just tried to eat what we could. 4. Checks came and they added items to it that we did not order. BEWARE!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!
