Janet and staff, thank you for 15 years of memories. I drove by today and noticed that it is closed. Makes me sad.

Very much the type of Chinese restaurant you had as a kid. They had a great egg foo young with lots of vegetables. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable for all you get. Will definitely come back.

Close permanently who knows it may open again it has done this in the past five stars for the food the service leaves a lot to be desired but again if I can get great food I'll be forgiving about poor service most of the time it's a strange place when it was open that is it always opened during the week at a different time so if you wanted to go for an early lunch and you could find the place locked until 1150 haha the owner's son apparently who runs the front of the house me personally I got along with him just fine well let's be gentle and say he could be rather irritating he never acknowledged me but I would say hello to him and he wouldn't answer back that's how some people are anyway who cares places closed right now I don't know if it'll ever open again but if it does I'll be one of the first ones down for the great food

After reading a SM request for recommendations for a good Chinese restaurant, I saw someone recommended Ginger China Bistro. I've been there twice. Both times the food was good, but on the second visit, the server was openly rude to us - my daughter and special needs grandson. Needless to say, we decided to never return. There was no mistaking the hostile attitude. We didn't misintterpret anything. Too bad. We thought we'd found a good place for Chinese.

I am only giving this a 3 star rating because the food was mediocre and the service was bad. My granddaughter and I went there for lunch. It was later than usual lunch time so it was empty. The waitress/cashier pointed to a table and said "you can sit there". We ordered drinks (which were served in styrofoam cups, the 'napkin' was a piece of paper towel and the menu was a dirty piece of paper. We ordered Fried Rice, Pot stickers, Spring Rolls and Crab puffs, and Ginger/Orange chicken. The pot stickers were terrible.. very gummy. The crab puffs and spring rolls were average as was the fried rice. The chicken was a bit better. The service... well she was on her cell phone the entire time we were there, and very loud when she was inside. Much of the time she was outside on the phone. I had to go get her to get us some soy sauce. The only reason I didn't give this a 2 is because she saw that we didn't eat half of the pot stickers so she didn't charge us for them without us asking and then she said "you shouldn't worry about giving me a tip as I know I was on the phone but I had to take it as it was a long distance call. I doubt we will ever go back there. Also, the place was not clean. Above the door there was a huge cobweb. Sad really as I had eaten there years ago and had a much better experience

Like someone else said, a truly bizarre experience! I live right across the street and me and my man were in love with the idea of ordering often, we arrive and are seated but they flat out ignored us for the remainder of our stay. They were handling take-out customers and calls. Bringing out food to some customers seated but, yikes! I won't be returning and that sucks because of the convenience, PHO KC which is nearby is a family business who builds rapport with their customers, works for their dollar, and deliver on flavor and quality consistently.

Great food and service

The waitstaff was attentive and the food was delicious! The food had a surprising element of refinement. I say surprising because it was not expensive & the menus were paper (Covid friendly). I will definitely return here for lunch or dinner. Everything we tried was very good.

Love this place and hope it reopens soon and COVID-19 doesn't cause another great family owned restaurant to close permanently. :(.Our family has eaten here for years and we have ALWAYS received fabulous, delicious food with friendly service.Mongolian beef, pineapple orange chicken, sesame chicken, pork crepes, broadway shrimp with noodles and combination fried rice are our go to items! Always served hot, fresh, scrumptious and with very generous serving sizes! Highly recommend this local gem!! Please reopen Ginger China Bistro, we crave our favorites that we can not get anywhere else!!

Best wonton soup ever ...jam packed with lots of healthy vegetables, love that they add mushrooms to their soup that's all I've ordered so far and I highly recommend this place

Bad service, even worse food. The food was too salty and cold. The gentleman that worked there looks like he hates his job.
