What a rip off! Ordered 2 small bowls and 1 large bowl. Not the medium, the large. And they bring me 3 small bowls and try to convince me it’s a “large” when they’re the EXACT SAME size. They wrote “small” on one of the small ones, I guess to try and convince us the one that didn’t have writing was a “large??” And they charged extra for sauces and then didn’t provide those paid for sauces. Avoid at all costs. This place is a joke.

Employees were great and everyone was nice there. But the food was not fresh, fish sitting in liquid and still have fishy. Portions were tiny compared to all other poki tastes and just overall not good and will not be going back. Price also is higher then other poki places.

Their portions are the same no matter what size! I’ve ordered from them twice in the same week. Their medium was a decent size. I ordered a large a couple days later and it was the exact same size as the medium. Food portions (scoops) and bowl size was the same as a medium. It’s a rip off!

Finally tried the poke from Koibito. I ordered through Uber Eats because they had to buy one get one free deal, which was great way to try it. It took them much longer to prepare the meal than they quoted. It said 30 minutes, but it was just under an hour. By the time I received the meal as I was tracking it on Uber Eats. I noticed that it took a long time for the location to prepare it, not for the driver to pick it up or deliver it. what I got was just OK. The small is extremely small and barely fills the bowl. The toppings were fresh, however, it felt like there was barely a scoop of the proteins. The spicy tuna is extremely light in color, which leads me to believe they don't use a very high-grade tuna.

So glad this location opened up, Koibito has become one of my favorite poke places, fast to serve, great always fresh combination of great poke favorites. Nothing to dislike about koibito, quite frankly!! The service is superb, the staff cares about the people who come in, and make you feel welcome when entering, when ordering, while dining, and upon leaving. Very friendly and very well managed. The food tastes great and the rice, something so simple, is made with care, it is very apparent. Good good food!

This place sucks. The only thing good about it was how the workers looked. They are gorgeous and so smelled very good. They were very kind. They told me to have a good day and that made me a little extra exited if you know what I mean. However, the food sucks, and I hate this place. This place is so expensive, and not affordable at all. A tiny little bowl is $15. We do not live in LA!!!!!!
