Lechon kawali has an after taste, same as the chicharon bulaklak. I assuming that the oil is very old they just re using it time and time again. The sinigang meat is very hard. I drove 45 minutes and it's not even worth the drive, very disappointed. Will not recommend the place.

First-time visitor. But definitely not the last time. This little restaurant and store has some of the basic fundamentals in Filipino cuisine. The staff is very friendly. Very helpful and kind. If you're from the area you already know about this place. The pork lechon is yummy. Just like eating it in the Philippines. As an American and my wife being Filipino. This reminds me of all the great food in the Philippines. You definitely want to try them out.

In response to Mary H. review, prices at Lutong Bahay have been very reasonableand competitive with other restaurants. I love their food & I buy food to go, often. Us Filipinos, have a difficult time, just giving compliments when due. Let’s just try to promote our own in more ways than one….discredit. I have been going to this since they opened. We ordered lechon in ADVANCE, not only was it late and we had to wait for a long time for it to be ready, it was NOT COOKED all the way inside, we could not serve it all to our guest! Message them and took a picture of it but NO response. Don't recommend this place. First time here and would be the last.

Me and my wife were so excited to go to Lutong Bahay so we can have some authentic Pinoy food. We went there last Sunday, January 14, and we ordered kalderetang kambing, a vegetable dish, and a pound of lechon. To my disappointment, the dish entrees were lukewarm cold including the lechon. I'm not sure if the food warmers are on but they are definitely not hot. The kaldereta wasn't flavorful and tasteful as it should be. Now for the lechon which is cold, what we mostly got are chewy pork skin and the meat are hard to chew. It seems like we got whatever is leftover and shouldn't have been sold anymore. The rice is also not well cooked. I felt I wasted money for the food we mostly threw away. I would like to see this restaurant succeed as a fellow Pinoy and being one of the very few in the area but more is to be expected and I know with some changes, they will thrive. I mean these comments to be constructive as I would like them to succeed.

It's a good stop for Filipino food. Lots of choices. The Bicol express and pakbet are my favorite this time. I hope to try Laing next time. I love the veggie dishes. There's also lots of cookies, pan de sal, frozen sausage items, Buko pie. I was excited to see Beng Beng chocolates so I got that along with peanut butter sky flakes. When I tried the chocolates at home I noticed it's expired since May 2023. Be careful what you buy, but there's lots of choices in the grocery section. The service is good. Everyone was helpful and happy to be of service. And there are plenty of seating to eat there. Or they wrap it up nicely for to-go. I'll try again.

We ordered 2 entree with 4 different items and every single items tasted very good. We enjoyed every single bite of it. Also got a little crazy shopping in their mini mart. Though we spend a little over the budget, it is all worth it! The staff are very nice and helpful. They deserve a perfect *****. Highly recommended!!

Was just nice to know there were Filipino options in the area. We dined in and took a lot of food to go. Prices were pretty much standard, just high. Idk why Filipino food is always on the higher end?!? ***In response to the OWNER: I made a comment about the pricing. I tried to be gentle about the food quality. His response, however, was not gentle and quite confrontational. This caught me off guard. I want to be fully transparent with you and share that if the quality had been there, I would have been more than happy to pay the given prices. In the future, I would caution you against making stereotypes, lumping Filipinos together, and making assumptions after a review is posted about your restaurant.
