“Greeted by Faisel, the owner's son, as he was working behind the counter, with a huge smile, we knew that all of you yelpers know what you're talking about. Everything about this place is fabulous: the cleanliness, the friendliness, the freshness...I love falafel. The falafel rings, with a whole in the middle, are unlike any falafel I've ever tasted. Faisel told us the detailed process/discovery it took to get them this way. The chicken schwarma sandwich was pressed, allowing for the inside taste not to be smothered by unnecessary dough. The chicken schwarma platter was tasty as well. The lentil soup - perfect! One of the best parts of the meal was chatting with enthusiastic smiling Faisal AND he gave us Casa de Falafel packaged lentil soup to take home! Worth a drive to eat here!“

“My friend and I had a wonderful late lunch here. Our visit was perfect from start to finish We sat outside..had Chicken Piccata and Chicken Parmesan and Tiramisu and Apple Crisp for desert. “Excellent coffee, teas, and vegan munchies. Fun and imaginative drinks for any mood. Highly recommend trying any of their coffees or teas with their various flavored foams. The iced blueberry tea with blueberry foam is light, refreshing, and out of this world. Steep is also a warm and inviting place to come hang out and work. I am usually disappointed with vegan food offerings in coffee shops, but their breakfast sandy is delicious! The slaw in the sandy takes it over the top.“
“Delicious vegan pastries, sandwiches, bowls, and drinks! Cute place with plenty of parking and comfortable atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful. The pasties seem to come out a bit after opening, probably when the chef, who was there one day, delivered them. Loved everything we had on our first visit. Our second visit we had ice cream, which I did not like--more like shaved ice in terms of iciness, but my friend did still enjoy hers!“

“Stopped in on a whim and we were blown away! The entire menu is 100% VEGAN and everything we had was delicious!! The brussel sprouts were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The portobello pizza was so full of flavor! The drinks were perfect. The staff was so friendly and right on time with everything. We plan to make this a regular thing.“
“I’ve been vegan for almost 12 years. Slowly there have been restaurants that are plant based, but I’ve never found good vegan Mexican food, until now. A colleague and I ordered here and we’re absolutely amazed at how delicious and fresh it was!!! She’s carnivore and loved it. I’ve found a new favorite spot for sure!“

“Ate here twice, getting the sweet and sour shrimp one time and the Malaysian chicken curry the second time. My traveling companion got the salt and pepper calamari and the tom yum shrimp - all of these were delicious and mimicked their "meat" counterparts superbly. They take a lot of pride and care of this restaurant which is reflected in the food and super friendly service.“

“Second time I’ve been to this place, and I’m already craving to go back. We ordered the Veggie Gyoza, Spicy Udon Mein and HK Typhoon Style Claypot. These dishes were cooked and flavored flawlessly. I find that many restaurants don’t cook tofu well but Mifan has the best tofu I’ve ever had. I also enjoy the chill atmosphere, staff was nice and their food is very affordable. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Phoenix!“
“Excellent vegan spot! My brother and I were deciding on an all-vegan place to try (we are visiting from Metro Detroit), and we picked The Coronado. I’m glad we did! Food, drinks, and service were all fantastic. I liked the elevated but not over the top Mexican inspired food, and it was definitely different than other Mexican places. It isn’t just tacos, etc. the drinks were delicious and paired nicely. Highly recommend the flautas and chimichanga, I can’t decide which was better tbh. We also had the peanut butter chocolate cake and wow, it was so good! I don’t even like banana but it’s worth trying.It’s a very cute restaurant and it’s in an unsuspecting part of town. They also have brunch which looks super good. I am definitely coming back here when I have a chance. “The Giving Tree is my absolute favorite place!! the food is created with such flavor. the staff is the best, today I was greeted by Hunter who was so helpful and a joy to speak with..
