Is WinCo on 57th Avenue and Bell Road is always clean and the staff is friendly. The shelves are stocked well and the demographic of the people shopping seems comfortable.I always find what I need at a very decent price. If you are looking for firewood this is the best place to get it at approximately $3.78 per bundle. another great deal there is the Beringer wine selection at approximately $2.88 per bottle. The music is always at a decent level and I don't really recall hearing many overhead announcements that would be distracting and loud. I used the seafood department and the person behind the counter was friendly and informative. Don't forget to, they do not accept credit cards but they do accept debit cards and cash. It's always best to bring your own bags.so, I would recommend this location because of the cleanliness, the friendliness, great prices and the demographic of shoppers.

Took me a while to get here but I like to shop at times at Winco. I have to admit my friend was not lie tale telling when he told me that the cat supplies here are a lot cheaper than well, anywhere else. And the fact it is an employee run business makes my heart happy. Now to hire my own, take with me bagger, Haha! The aisles are wide, the parking lot is huge and stress free, things are cheap, and the staff are always very nice. Please note this is a warehouse type of store so they might not have the selection you are looking for but yes, you can shop for smaller units. I do all my shopping here when I go, non bulk. They have all that I need. I do note they do not have all brands of things. I am okay with that. If you a brand shopper you might not find what you are looking for here.

Seriously I have no idea why people are going ANYWHERE ELSE! Hands down best prices anywhere! I was at frys the other day banking. Walked around to see prices. One item I buy at winco retails at under $6. Fry's??!!...$11.! Love you Winco! Your the best kept secret ever!

My family and I have been shopping at this Winco for a few years now. Winco has the lowest prices around on nearly everything, hands down. I make a mental note of cost of things I regularly buy at various stores, and Winco has them all beat -- even Wal-Mart. I feel like we've saved so much money by shopping here! For anyone not familiar with Winco, I'd like to point out a couple of things, as some may be taken back by it at first: 1) they only take cash or debit -- no credit cards. They say this is one of the ways they pass on the savings, and 2) you must bag your items yourself. The bagging can be somewhat stressful when they're busy, you have a cart full of groceries and there are other customers waiting for you to finish up. That is my least favorite part. But honestly, it's worth it for the savings. I feel the store and carts are kept pretty clean. Most of them don't pull like most of the carts seem to at other grocery stores, which is super annoying when you have a cart-load of heavy groceries. Now, I'd like to share some of the cons I've experienced: 1) There have been multiple times I've found items on the shelf that were expired! I've also bought stuff before not realizing how soon the expiration date is. Case in point, pesto. Normally, pesto will last at least a few weeks in the fridge, but I once bought pesto here and it expired just a couple days later. I also found expired pesto on the shelf, and found expired fruit dip. There were two times I brought items home only to then realize they were moldy. Once with a block of Parmesan, and another with a bag of flour tortillas. Neither were actually expired so I'm not sure how or why they were moldy, but my warning to you is if you shop here, inspect everything before placing it in your cart. 2) Some of the meat isn't the best quality, and you don't have much of a variety. I can't stand that they seem to mainly sell Sanderson Farms chicken. I feel like that is some of the worst chicken. My husband had also complained about the quality of their beef and steaks. 3) Their produce is kind of meh. Some things are fine, but others, not so much. 4) Last but not least, always check over your receipt! It's hard to pay attention when the cashier is ringing up your items while you're trying to bag them. I once had a cashier ring my husband up for 11 green bell peppers when he only bought 1! We didn't notice until he had already come home. We did end up taking our receipt in to customer service on a future visit and they did refund us, at least, so I'll give them that. Overall, I would recommend Winco if your main goal is to save money on groceries. If you are the type of person who likes options, all-natural or organic, they don't carry much of that, so if that's what you're looking for, this wouldn't be the place for you.

Parking is plenty, bulk items are plenty, and all other grocery items you have a lot of selection to pick from. Prices are pretty good. Problem is after loading up the cart it is $245 later. It is like a Costco run! Ouch.... Need to control my spend here too!

WinCo is awesome! There are tons of deals. The bulk section is huge and they have grind your own peanut butter which is the main reason I go there. Keep in mind you have to bag your own groceries and they don't take credit cards just debit cash and checks

I like this store so much that, if I'm just in the neighborhood, I stop in. Great prices and selection. You can tell this is an employee owned enterprise by the pleasant dispositions of everyone there. Best sourdough bread to be found anywhere!

I bought a salad packaged by the deli and while eating it, was surprised it actually tasted good! However halfway through eating, I poked my fork into the lettuce to pick up my next bite and there lied the BIGGEST NASTIEST cricket I have ever seen in my life!! I was so incredibly disgusted I was eating this salad and was immediately sick to my stomach. Be warned of their packaged foods!!!

Always the lowest prices and great selections. The bulk section is my absolute favorite and the coffee wall is something to geek out over. The staff is helpful and constantly stalking or cleaning. Love this place!

Good selection of organic and non organic food. The place is open 24 hours and offers cheaper prices on spices as compared to Sprouts. The quality on spices is good. The quality of other items in the bins may not be as good as Sprouts, but they are definitely cheaper. Good selection of meats, dairy, seafood and alcohol

Winco has excellent prices and I really like their bulk food selection, but today when I went in, I had to wait a very long time for the cashier, Valerie, to tell her story to the customer in front of me. She went on and on about how lucky she was that she only has boys. Girls are so much harder to control. That her girls never come home and her son just signed a one year lease at the age of 35. How his girlfriend broke up with him the second time just before Christmas... Its one thing to be friendly, but this is not professional at all. This is my day off and I have quite a few errands to run and didnt want to hear all of that.

WinCo is somewhere in between Albertsons and Sprouts when it comes to what they offer but similar to Costco in appearance. The positives: there are always short lines, so no waiting like you would at Walmart or Costco. Another positive, they have vegan and vegetarian items as well as a bulk section much like Sprouts and their prices are more reasonable than Sprouts. For instance, their bulk coffee is nearly half the price. The beautiful thing here is that they also have a pet section in their bulk section and it's significantly cheaper than Petco or PetSmart. Dog treats are 71 cents a pound, I dare you to find a better deal in the valley. Another positive is that it's employee owned. Their Butter Toffee Almonds in the bulk section are out of this world! So there's many reasons why I keep coming back. The only negative is that they don't take credit so you have to pay in debit or cash.

Not sure why I don't come and do my shopping here more often as their prices overall are cheaper then when I shop at Walmart! Winco, if you've never been to one, is like a wholesale store. Kinda like Sam's but you don't need a membership to buy here. I've always been able to find what I need here as far as food is concerned. I hardly ever buy non-food items at Winco, since most of the time it is cheaper at Walmart. Winco always has a good selection for produce and sometimes I've gotten super cheap veggies here. .99 cents a lb for asparagus is a killer of a deal! Fruit usually isn't cheaper, but the veggies are. I love how they offer some dry stuff in bulk and you can get how much you want. I love their sesame sticks and usually get them for work. Prices on cheese and meat are pretty good here as well. I normally get feta here as they are under $2 for what Walmart and other places charge almost $. Never have gotten any meats other then lunch meat here, but have compared prices and they are comparative to other store, if not cheaper on some stuff. Alcohol is cheaper here as well. Store is usually clean and organized. People working here are also friendly, but not going out of their way friendly. Just smile when looking at you and saw hello. The only real difference I experienced at this Winco then the other one closer to my house is the self service check out. The machines are frustrating. If you don't have the barcode just right, it won't scan. Had to swipe my items at least 5 times each before it scanned. The lady that was in that area didn't seem to care that we weren't able to check out very fast due to the scanner.

Awesome store. Never had a problem here. Very good prices on everything. This is my go to store even though I live right by a frys and walmart. Legit.
