My son took me to this sushi place because they found it more affordable, I have to say I was a bit skeptical but I went along. I have to say that the sushi was better than the more expensive sushi place I go to. The only negative is the decor and it's dark inside, but with good company that is all the ambiance you need. When I went to yellowtail sushi and steak, I thought that it was going be like any other Japanese restaurant. The last Japanese restaurant I went to was not great. The food was bland and not that great. I was very wrong. The food was great, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. During our meal, our server came to check up on us often, and even the owner of the restaurant came to our table and asked us if everything was all right. I love sushi and it's hard to find a place that makes good sushi. This place is friendly and yummy. Fish appears to be fresh and they have movies on the tvs. The sushi chef is personable and kind. I love sitting at the sushi bar watching him work.
