“This cafe caught my eye, and I'm glad I finally made it in time - they do close at 1 pm on the weekends. They were quite busy even on a weekend, but there is plenty of seating. They have some seats that face the window to people watch the street. There's additional long tables and even smaller group tables to sit. At back, there's even more tables (and they have a Chess game on one should you wish to play). Nice and cozy atmosphere, and love the colorful wall paintings.Yes, there's a bit of wait for the coffee, but they make all the drinks fresh. Their coffee really does pack a punch. It can be a bit bitter, but man does it wake you up! For about 25 cents more (I recall), you can get the upgrade to coffee ice cubes- extra caffeine yay! My only wish was they called out orders at they came out, but luckily I was able to go up to ask to verify my order. :)Parking: There's street parking in front, or you can also find parking on other side streets. There's also an. off-street parking lot on Broad and Sycamore (that is just a 5 minute walk or less to this cafe). There's an accessible ramp up from the crosswalk side on Sycamore.“

“Though they give you a receipt asking you to take a survey and get a promo code no one on staff knew how to handle it and I gave them one star. Next day manager called me to follow up. Anytime a business actually takes the time to dome this deserves 5 stars. And she told us how to process the code at other locations.“

“Took my Granddaughter there and she had her first B. Split. Took out of town company there for Ice Cream after dinner and they loved it! Both times the Staff was Amazing. First time was the Owner and second time a young man, I believe was Aaron. He was so nice to another little girl in there as a customer, I believe her name was “Lyric”. He was so sweet to this little girl that it made us smile.“

“This building is so pretty from the outside, with a colorful mural painted on the entrance. They are now located in the Jim Coates gallery which means you can now enjoy some art while getting your cuppa. It was slow when I went in, however the upside was a speedy checkout. The cookies they make are very delicious- just the right amount of sweet and they are airy and so soft and yummy!Parking: You can park along the street.“

Starbucks Coffee Shops • $

“Occasionally Starbucks is a Godsend, and this is one of those times. If you find yourself in Globe on one of the 7 days each week that Bernard's isn't open, and you need stronger "coffee" than the tepid brown water offered at the Best Western, then you, like me, will be thrilled this Starbucks is here. 5 stars for its mere presence.“
