Today, I want to thank Faith the cashier who kindly helped me find an online coupon. I apologized about having trouble figuring the Safeway app and she graciously reassured me she could help and she did! I really appreciated! Last time I tried to use an online coupon and asked the cashier, she (I will not name her) was so loudly condescending and irritated with me, I gave up. When someone asks politely for help and there is no other or very few customers in the checkout line, it should be part of the cashier's job description to help the customer. Some of us are older and didn't grow up with cell phones attached to our hands! So, again, kudos and thanks to Faith!

Usually love this Safeway - has everything you need, clean, etc. but the last two times I've gone, I have gotten home & something that I bought was expired.... First time was cheese sticks.... Expired in SEPTEMBER. & just today we bought sausage for breakfast & it was 4 days past the expiration date. & smelled horrible. Not sure how to fix this problem but it sucks!! Shouldn't have to check & worry about expiration dates on everything.

Thanks Safeway for THE ugliest cake I have ever seen!!! Everyone recommended this great job they do, this is the embarrassing junk I just picked up for $30 And I have zero time to fix it The description was mostly green decorations, girly , and the Girl Scout emblem and the words troop 6712 I went to customer care desk and the young girl literally said “that’s the worst I have ever seen, they normally do great, am so sorry” end of story

Shout out to Alec in the Deli department! Ordered some deli meat and then we wanted a sandwich but couldn't decided which one to order. We asked Alec what he recommended... philly cheesesteak.... so opted to try and it was soooo good! You can tell the effort he puts in at work. Not like others who just seem to get through the day and honestly makes us feel like we are bothering them. May seem like an odd review but Alec deserves it. GREAT customer service!!!! He definitely made an impression on us.

Enough of Safeway's deceptive advertising. Just left the store for the last time. Shelf advertised 12 pack of soda 4 for 10.88. (Or 6.98 each) so of course I picked up four. At the counter I was informed I needed to spend $25 for groceries.... oh no, I only had $20 in my cart. As the line was long I just gave up and left the soda. I will check out Fry's, Walmart, or Target next trip to the store.

The produce is always fresh! They take great pride in there store because it is always clean. The bathrooms are nice. When people come out of town to visit and they go grocery shopping they are always happy. I am not embarrassed at all. They have a loyal customer in me. On Mother's Day, I had to scramble to find my mom something. Because a certain company failed (Editable Arrangements) I was in Safeway buying produce it took me two minutes and I was done. I did not have to wait either. They hired enough employees to really tackle the lines.

The store is clean and for the most part employees are friendly. There are certain foods you'd have to go get from Sprouts or Frys; however, for the basics and location this place is the best & closes for all EMR residents.

Every Sunday morning on my way home from work I come here for ham, hard rolls and bakery. I always have to wait to get my ham. I'm not waiting because it's busy with customers. I'm waiting because the woman in the back is doing something more important than helping me the customer. Sometimes I wait two minutes and then sometimes more than 5 minutes. When she comes out to help me I can tell I was bothering her as she doesn't look happy. Then I go to pay and I can always count on being over charged for something. This week it was being charged for bagels when I told her I had hard rolls. Last week I bought 3 bakery items and got charged for 4. It's a good thing I live up here so it's convenience that keeps me coming back.

CHECK EVERY EXPIRATION DATE! There was yogurt on the shelf expired last week so I grabbed a different one and it was expired since March! 4+ MONTHS AGO! Sad because it was the baby yogurt. I feel like every time I go I'm turning in expired food to employees. The milk had 50% off sticker and it expired 4 days ago. They have about 10 registers maybe, but only 1-2 cashiers so the line wraps all the way around and down the aisles at times. I just can't anymore... ugh!
