Wagon Wheel Restaurant

With some traditional food of the local area. Quite. Peaceful. Nice n cold after the 90 degrees outside. The Navajo taco was a go too meal. So big so delicious I had to order another to go. By morning we had a Peaceful quite breakfast.
I waited almost an hour for my food because they had a large group that needed to be served before us. For how big that restaurant is (many seats), they should have more cooks, that kind of wait is not acceptable. We had a mac and cheese and the southern style chicken which were very good, hence the 3 stars. The restaurant looks a little dated, but everything was clean and tidy.

We had been hiking all day and driving here for the night. The town is on the reservation and this area didn't have much besides a couple fast food spots. We really didn't want fast food, so we saw only one restaurant in town open until 9 and were headed there. We were worried we wouldn't be able to check...read full review
