I had already filled up with gas at the Love's up the street where it was cheaper thanks to the Loves 10 cent discount for scanning the app. But as I'm headed back to the highway, I realized that not only was I hungry but that the temperature was not going to drop very much.Pilot with big ice coolers outside and I bought two bags to go into my Icy Breeze for the night. And they have a Wendy's here so that was dinner.[Review 21046 overall - 117 in Arizona - 9 of 2024.]

Clean, convenient, decent staff and easy to get into and out of. And it's named after my dog.

Beware! We gassed up here today and minutes later our credit card was dinged for our purchase plus another separate transaction 5 times our purchase amount. Thank goodness for a great credit card company. As for this Pilot, something is going on here...

My neighbor and I bought land in the area got stuck in sand for a day and after our tow went to pilot. Asked the gal inside if we could sleep there for the night. About an hour later I am taking the dogs to the restroom on the only piece of grass and a random lady starts telling me I have to move them I explain it's the only grass they have to pee and we will leave right away. She then says I have to leash all three not just one. I tell her that service animals don't need a leash etc etc.she gets ruder. I tell her to grow up... You get the idea. She then talks to the employee who said I could stay, they are friends lucky me... She kicks me out, then when I leave calls the sheriff to come visit me across the street at the loves truck stop. I don't know if the modern world of abusive power is something that bothers you or if seeing a veteran waiting on disability harassed but if so I recommend the loves across the street. They were clean, friendly, and awesome!!

The manager was extremely rude and harassed me. They told me to move my big rig from a bad space, which I did. After that I found another parking spot twice. The parking spaces were generally full. The manager came knocking on my door twice and screamed very loud at me to move. All I wanted to do was get my breakfast I ordered at Wendys, which I didnt even get to do, wasting my money. After pulling up at a fuel aisle, I left the truck stop to avoid being harassed anymore.

I'm reviewing a gas station here, so I'm going to be slightly more brief than I would normally be. Anna, the kids, and I are on a trip to Flagstaff, AZ, and no road trip would be complete without the need to fill up the tank, grab a snack, and use a restroom. Okay, maybe that's just us. A few miles before the California/Arizona border, we saw a sign for $3.39 gas at the Pilot off exit 9, so we decided we'd stop there. Every pump was in use, so I pulled in behind a Mercedes Sprinter van and waited my turn. Fortunately, the lady in the Mercedes was just finished, so we were able to pull up to the pump. While I got out to pump, Anna went into the attached Wendy's and into the Pilot shop. Much to my chagrin, there was a paper sign on the pump stating that the station was out of all but super unleaded. So much for that sweet $3.39 gas, right? Wrong! The sign offered apologies and also informed customers that Pilot wasn't charging extra for 91 octane gas. Wow! I feel like whoever runs or owns that Pilot actually cares about their customers. After filling up, Anna came out with food from Wendy's and a fresh coffee from the Pilot store, and she reported that the workers in the store were polite and professional. I can attest to their coffee making prowess. Overall, this was a great experience. I tend to favor Pilot truck stops when I'm traveling, and this one more than lived up to my expectations.

I had to get gas on my way to Sedona, AZ, during my recent road trip. I believe this Pilot Travel Center in Lake Havasu City was my first stop for gas. I will pump at Pilot before any other gas station brands besides Costco... Love or Flying J would be next if there's one available. I only pump at name brand gas if I have to. Now of course there are a few gas station brands I will not pump at... Arco (it almost damaged my Toyota Camry long long time ago so I will never use them again), Thrifty (never pumped them, but it's probably similar to Arco), Valero (I may have pumped them once, but I'll stick with my Costco, Pilot, Love, and others). Gas, potty breaks, and foods are the main reason why I stop at gas stations especially when travelling on the road. I'm sure it's the same for everyone else. I have to say Pilot Travel Centers are the best... besides gas, they have one or two restaurants within them, foods/snacks/drinks, tons of souvenirs, car needs, restrooms, shower rooms (vary by Pilot), also laundry rooms (vary by Pilot), etc. Thank you to this Pilot and all other Pilots for being available wherever you are at! I appreciate you.

Just paid over $100 for gas and they wouldn't let me fill my tires with air without paying!!! Isn't that illegal??

RV and Trailer friendly location. No dump station though, or at least none that I see. They have propane tanks here, but no propane refill station. This place definitely practice social distancing and face mask wearing. Inside is really nice and clean, sorry I didn't have my phone on me at the time I was inside. They have a restroom, game room, laundry room, and shower room. I only explored the restroom/bathroom, and it was surprising clean and well lit. Staff seem very nice and friendly. Helpful as well. There's a Wendy's, Dunkin' Express, and Cinnabon here was well if you want to have a snack.

If your driving into California you better get gasoline before you enter bc gas prices are outrages in California (bc of the bad politicians). Nine miles from California stateline. The best place to get gas before you go into California. All the good stuff at the travel center. Employees are always good and helpful.

Short Review: Run an find another place to stop! COVID RULE-VIOLATION LOCATION! ----- Long Review: This location has no enforcement of Covid rules/laws. Customers enter without masks on the regular and no one stops them. If you try to say something, the customers in violation will get upset. Don't push them. Their ignorance knows no limits. 844-410-2157 is the AZ state Covid Report Hotline, do not hesitate to report any place of business not following the rules!

So apparently since we can’t take our own cups and fill them up because of the virus they still charge full price for a cup of hot water and she was rude as hell!!
