We did the hibachi grill. Food was good but it took a long time to get appetizers and waited a long time for the cook. And while nice, he just wasn't as fun and entertaining as they usually are at other places I've been or other chefs I've experienced here.

At a very large family get together with my wife’s side of the family (we were visiting from Montana) we had dinner here with 10 of us in a group at the table. The Teppanyaki Chef was phenomenal, which made for a great dining experience as he both incorporated his own flare into his cooking, and was very attentive to detail himself! The wait staff was probably some of the most polite/attentive service that we’ve had in any place like this. Overall, if you want a good experience dining and also want it to be fun. I’d highly recommend here!

I called last time I was in town to give feedback on the sushi rolls. Not the best. The manger changed my entire experience even before he offered to give me a sushi roll (free of charge) that he was sure I would love. The next time I came to town I called to see if they would honor the offer. The girl who answered the phone said no.I asked to speak with the manager. Reluctantly after going back n forth, the assistant manager 'Cee' came to the phone. She was blatantly rude in her tone. She scolded me for calling the reservation line, all but called me a liar and hung up on me.This was not a fine Japanese dinning experience!

Don't bother making a reservation, we made a reservation for a party of 10 for my daughter's birthday, we arrived 10 min early. They told us our reservation would run an hour behind. After trying to speak to them to see if there was anything we could do , and getting an emotionless response we decided to go elsewhere. Needless to say my daughter was super disappointed, and it ruined her birthday she was looking forward to sushi for a month. We will never go back.
They had a sushi buy one get one half off thing and those were as good as grocery store rolls then the chicken fried rice I had was the worst I've had. Didn't think you could make fried rice poorly. The chicken was... mushy. I tried eating around it, but the chicken was the same color as the rice, making me think they didn't grill it. I ate at the bar, so mine wasn't made in front of me. I've never been so turned off by chicken. Maybe the other food is significantly better ?♀️

This place is terrible!! I would give it a zero star if I could! This is the fourth time I have made reservations, and they have NEVER honored them!! They are always running an hour behind! When I complained to the manager, he told me I should go somewhere else, because they have a line out the door. Staff is incredibly rude! Plus, the food is mediocre at best.... It is SO salty. We will NEVER go here again and neither should you!

I don't care how good the grill is (which isn't even that good) the service here is rude and horrible!! They hang up on you, they screwed us over on a reservation. We made a reservation for 7:30 for the grill, when we arrived at 7:20 they said it would be over an hour wait. Yah, I'm good on rude people with zero organization. I could only imagine how sanitary their prep kitchen is with how rude and unorganized their front staff is. They definitely have no problem screwing over the locals. Word to the wise, havasu has a ton of good spots to eat. Save yourself the trouble on this one.
