I have tried a few things on the menu and everything has been amazing. Love that they have a daily special. They have been super kind and friendly. I recommend their quesobirria tacos and order of guacamole and chips. Delicious!!

Went in on a Saturday night around 8:30 to celebrate our Anniversary. Was happy to see it was open until 10 so that we could actually enjoy and indulge in our meal. We walk in don't see any customers so ask if dine in was OK. The owners who were just sitting around up front slowly looked up from their phones with no smile and just say "ya." We start to walk toward a table and the owner says "you need to order up here first." It was our first time there we don't get any real greeting it felt like they didn't even want us there. The wife took our order but no warmth in our transaction at all. No pictures on the menu we order the cheese and chips and added the lobster for extra $5, calamari, shrimp and fish tacos and mojarra (fried fish plate). The cheese and lobster dip came and it was just like Velveeta cheese with lobster pieces mixed in. It tasted nothing like Mennonite cheese as described on the menu. Not worth it at all. The calamari was fresh and a good amount. The sauce was a sweet ketchup, not favored. My husband's plate of tacos were ok but no salsas were offered so it was dry going down. My fish plate was bland not much flavor in the fish and wasn't fully fried, the beans were cold and the accompanied salad had no dressing. Their son delivered our plates and we only got 1 fork. We werent offered any water. There were coolers up front so eventually my husband went to buy a jarritos but wow $3. We were eager to support this new local establishment but were really disappointed. I hope the owners keep their heart in their business venture. Regardless of the long and hard days, the people of Laveen would love to see their neighbors succeed a little hospitality goes a long way.

Heard good things about this restaurant! First visit to the restaurant was great! Owner was super cool, ordered the Queso Taco y Birria and it was awesome! Return visit was a bit different experience and tried the carne asada tacos and they were good. Return visit ordered 12 queso tacos y birria and some carne asada tacos to go and was so disappointed. They were basically fried tacos with cheese. Totally disappointed. Not sure if I’ll be back due to inconsistent food and service.

Want a quick bite with quality food, friendly service, and the ability to dine in, or takeout? Well I believe I just found the place! I ordered the tacos (carne asada, pollo asada, grilled shrimp), and OH MY were they tasty. Some of the best pollo asada I've had! The tableside seasoned chips, and salsas were a nice touch, and fantastic! I can't wait to return to try some of the mariscos...the ceviche looked amazing!
