A Delicious Oasis Inside Wildlife WorldDillon's KC BBQ was a lifesaver after a fun-filled morning exploring Wildlife World with my students. Located conveniently within the zoo, it offered the perfect pitstop for lunch. The food was fantastic. We savored delicious BBQ dishes that left everyone satisfied. The service was friendly and efficient, which was a huge plus with a hungry group of kids.Overall, Dillon's KC BBQ is a great option for lunch at Wildlife World. It's a delicious way to refuel and recharge before continuing your adventures at the zoo.

Portion sizes are good for the price and food is top notch delicious!!! Excellent option for a date night or to go for friends meet-up.You don't have to go to pay the outrageous prices to go to the zoo to enjoy. I found it to be a very pleasant surprise and will definitely be going back. Hint: the onion rings are out of this world and the ranch is home made. Totally recommend ?

A great spot for family dinner. The food was good, the service was great and the fish tank and flamingos were excellent. The restaurant has its own external entrance so admission to the zoo is not required to eat here (they also have a entrance from the zoo so if you are at the zoo you don’t have to leave to come eat here). The indoor dining room has a large aquarium with tons of fish, sharks and even a sea turtle to watch. The patio off the bar has a viewing area for the flamingos. Overall it was super kid friendly and our little one enjoyed walking around to all the different tanks to see the fish, sharks and sea turtle. The food was good, I wouldn’t put this with the giants of Kansas City BBQ but all in al it was enjoyable. I had the three meat platter with Smoked sausage, Brisket and Burnt Ends with baked beans and a baked potato. The portion size was large and enough for me to take home for lunch the following day. My wife had the Arizona Turkey sandwich, she enjoyed it but mentioned the sandwich lacked a sauce (Mayo, bbq or something). We went on a Wednesday night and the dining room wasn’t overly busy, the bar area was very busy and they had a trivia night going on.Parking: Shares parking lot with the zoo.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly. High chair available. Kids menu. Tons of cool fish to keep the kids entertained.

This is probably our 5th time going to Dillons here at the Wildlife Park. Every time has been great. Until today 4/6/24. Up until this point the food was above expectations. Today was a very different and disappointing experience. I always get the pick your own bbq meal. Today I choose the smoked chicken and baby back ribs. The smoked meat was anything but smoked. I know this because I've been smoking meats for a good while. It also was very dry and completely flavorless. It was just meat. Not what you expect when we've been here before and the place is a smokehouse. Hopefully they can get a better pit master and turn it around. Right now, I won't waste my money here. We won't return until I see better reviews.

Order the Ribs you wont leave this place. You get your money worth on every plate. prices average 14.00 and up. We spent about 177.00 for a party of 9. 6 kids 3 adults. I love this place. Waitress was very kind and checked on table 3 times. Orders were accurate. its amazing and i am going back.Kid-friendliness: High chairs and kid menu

The bbq dishes were very good and loved that we could see the flamingos. The staff was friendly & quick.

Tonight was very disappointing. Most all of our food was dry and tough. The manager gave us a small discount but $75 dollars for our meals and will need to go home and eat. For reference we had brisket and ribs. Both were basically inedible. Fortunately this has not been our experience at other locations.

Nice place I’d go again for sure good food lots of items. They had “music bingo” going on when we came in. Tad loud but when that stopped it was fine. We were only one table away from speaker so.

Great food, and there is a really cool aquarium to look at while you eat! Perfect after a long day of walking at the zoo. There was 0 wait time for our party of 5. There is plenty of seating on the inside, as well as outdoor seating. All of our meals tasted great! I would definitely recommend the country fried chicken with mashed potatoes and coleslaw ?

Dillon's is a fun place to bring the kids. The large aquariums are full of sharks, assorted fish, sea turtles, etc. Across the restaurant are the flamingos. It's great entertainment to watch while enjoying your meal. The food is good, the service is good.We love coming here.My only suggestion would be that the appearance of the physical facility is getting 'tired' and needs a refresh.

The meat was horrible the brisket had no flavor and was dry the pulled pork as well. In order for it to even be edible you have to soak it in barbecue sauce which I’m not a big fan of so I got it on the side. I will never go back here. A lot of people go because it’s convenient after visiting the zoo but don’t go the meat is not good at all. Service is also very slow it took so long to get our food and it was horrible.

Their chicken fried steak is heavenly! And huge! I go every week for trivia and a meal. They leave Brookside II in their dust! I'm a regular now.
