I've visited a few times, before a concert at the nearby Mesa Arts center. The location is nice, industrial done the right way. Service can be a little slow, we sat at the bar and both bartenders were extremely busy. I get it, but it seemed like they were running around too much between the cocktail bar and the beer service bar. In any case, their own beers (I had the West Coast IPA) ate Delicious and the espresso Martini and old fashioned my girlfriend had were superb. Fish tacos tasted great (they can ease up a bit on the coleslaw) and my wings were cooked too perfection. Overall, I'll be visiting again before my next concert or show at the Mesa Arts center.

I would not recommend this spot as being family friendly. We were not treated well by our server and will not be back.We visited Friday March 22 with our 6 and 8 year old kids. Food wasn’t great, beer was mediocre at best and our server was not kid friendly… disappointing for sure!

While our service was excellent for a table of eight, the burger I had was completely burnt and looked like a hockey puck. They don’t ask how you want the burger done, so I inquired - cooked medium apparently... Drinks are good, but avoid the burgers.

Amazing space with not much going on when we visited. Beers were good, so was the food, and the service was good too.

Me and my son went to go eat here. The hamburger and fries were delicious. I ordered the fish and chips, a classical British dish. In my opinion, it was good, but my son said that it was bad. The tartar sauce was ok. But the fish was overall good. Same with the hamburger, that my son ordered. The only problem was that the cheeseburger did not come with tomatoes and lettuce. I personally think this is a bad example to children. Children should have more veggies incorporated, instead of some cheese, bread, meat, and fries. Not to mention, the kids menu was a little small, it didn’t have much diversity. Other than that, the food and service was amazing. Thanks for serving us 12 West!

Our server Amber was great - super friendly and helpful with recommendations. We loved the beer selection as well as the truffle fries & pretzel for appetizers. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Took a visit on a Sunday night as we are from out of town. We had to go through 3 drink choices since they were out of multiple items. We then went to order food and they were out of the brisket at 7:30 in the evening. Food was okay but for the price and comparison to the Phoneix area, we could have done a lot better. Atmosphere was also nothing special. Oh and heads up, the food you see on photos of the restaurant, most is discontinued. This place needs some definite attention.

My mate and I meandered around downtown Mesa on a rainy weekend.Nostalgia for her. A walk back in time.Unfortunately, it being Sunday most shops were closed. She spied with her pretty eye that this brewpub were open.Holy smokes. What a great space! An historic building built out properly.Speakeasy downstairs. Plenty of patio. Tons of brick. Cool. Then, our server. Professional. Courteous. Informative. Friendly. We both took his recommendations for brunch. Sooooooo delicious.Biscuits & Gravy. Birria pork (I think)Awesome. Great food. Cool vibe. Great beer. Excellent service. Reasonable prices. Great spot!

Food was unique but not necessarily great and my stomach has been a bit upset the day after. I got the birria tacos and the sauce was not a consume like it is normally served with. It was more of a chipotle sauce which didn't really go with the tacos. But the truffle fries I had on the side were killer. The beer was less than desirable. And I ended up leaving most of it on the table. I mentioned the beer was not great to the server and he kinda shrugged. Seems like they know their beer is not great.

Went in for drinks and appetizers and really enjoyed the atmosphere, service and selection. Huge bourbon list, cider options and a creative street corn dip (they serve it cold). It makes for a lighter appetizer and nicely pairs with a lager. It is a very accommodating location for large parties.
