Just went to this place for the first time today. The theme is around balboa island with the frozen bananas, but honestly these are better than the ones there. Great quality, reasonable price and delicious! Will be back!

Best dipped bananas!!! Banana dipped in dark chocolate with half sprinkle/ half crushed Oreos and a marshmallow drizzle. Worth every calorie!!!! Amazing!!

Stopping at Balboas is a must anytime we are in North Mesa! It's our favorite! It's always so clean and welcoming, the employees are so friendly and the bars are so good! I'm a fan of the half banana and my kids love the ice cream bars. The toppings rock! There are so many combinations, suggestions and options. They keep the dipping area super super clean! This is just such a fun and delicious experience and one of our favorites! The stickers and tshirts are rad!

I tried Balboas for the first time today and I really liked it. A fantastic treat for the beginning of Arizona spring. I got the Campfire with had marshmallows and graham crackers...so good. Banana tasted fresh, as if it was recently frozen. I feel the packaged chocolate covered bananas in the store are always mushy. I would definitely go back next time I want a treat. I can also see them as a stadium/sports snack. It is a nice handheld that isn't too messy, especially since they provide a little container to catch anything that falls.
Definitely one of our new go to spots! Excellent service and high quality options throughout the menu.

Fun dessert ice cream shop. Not a place I can go regularly but great for an occasional, splurge. Girls behind the counter were super friendly and helpful in explaining how everything works. The hot chocolate was great!

I got the cheesecake option and I asked for less chocolate and they did it which I liked. Only complaint is that the cheesecake was FROZEN SOILD. Not sure if it’s supposed to be like that since it’s my first time but won’t go back unless they start thawing out the cheesecakes.
