First, this restaurant is small but not too small. It’s extremely clean from tables to cutlery. The menus are beautiful as well as helpful if you are new to these dishes. The staff were so friendly and helpful with recommendations. It is wheel chair accessible which is so important to how I rate any establishment.To start we order Chili Dumplings and cucumber salad. These dumplings were absolutely delicious!! If that was the only thing I ate that day I would have left happy. Light & airy with the perfect amount of spice. The filling was perfectly seasoned. Cucumber salad was super refreshing with light garlic oil dressing. I took it home and even the next day it still had that beautiful crunchy texture.We also ordered Pork Wonton Noodle Soup and Seafood Wonton Noodle Soup. The pork in the noodle soup was delicious and fresh. The wontons are such a good size and the filling was so tender and delicious. The noodles!!! Wow just wow!! We loved the noodles in both soups. The seafood soup was incredible!! I lived in Australia for 2 yrs and I have never had anything even come close to the wonton noodle soup until now!!! It had shrimp, crab meat and squid. Everything was cooked perfectly!!! Squid is something that can be overcooked so easily and this soup was exceptional. All the seafood from the wontons to the shrimp etc was so fresh not fishy at all!!We ordered some Baos and honestly we both were stuffed we ended up sharing one and eaten the rest the next day. They were light and fluffy and cooked to perfection.I highly recommend Happy Bao’s and we will be coming back soon!!Parking: Free parking located outside Mekong PlazaKid-friendliness: Staff is so kind and friendly. This place is pretty good but can be hit or miss. Always looks busy when we are at making. Over priced for what you get though. Not sure how much I can blame them because most of the cost is probably due to high rent of the location but that's an assumption. $17 for hor fun (chow fun) is just too expensive for the portion size but it is pretty good. Better then most other places that have it and it is hard to find. Other things on the menu are in the same boat.Overall solid to good food but overpriced.Update: Coincidentally I ordered takeout today and it seems like the portion is bigger then I have ever gotten so bumped up one star. Still not $20 worth of a portion, but more reasonable.

LET DOWN!: After seeing an Instagram foodie's review, I came here with the expectation that their soup dumpling were superb! However, the experience was quite the opposite. The soup dumplings were bland! 30$ for something so subpar :(The 10$ frozen soup dumplings from Trader Joes have more flavor!!

I don't know what happened to this place. New manager? Cutting back due to inflation? When it first opened the xiao long bao were the best I'd had outside Shanghai. Not now. They tasted like water. I was sitting in the communal area because we ordered other terrible food at another place. They served it unnecessarily in to-go containers. Same with the spicy beef. It was awful. And I had to use the rice bowl from the other restaurant just to eat it. Ratios were all off and things were cooked over and under. None of it was right, and it tasted like plastic and chlorine. I threw it all in the garbage. I'm done with Mekong Market restaurants. I don't know, the place seems to be going downhill.
