Seems like if you are a person of color they don't like you that much because server was being rude to us, and they need to update there hours because it seemed like she didn't want us there because they said they were closing in 10 min while online it says they had to be open for a whole extra hour.

I haven’t been to a JB’s for many years. When I was a kid in SoCal we went to Bob’s Big Boy (what JBs used to be) every Sunday, and thats what brought me here today. The burgers back then were epic and the salads were too. Alas, the mushroom Swiss burger I had today was probably one of the least tasty burgers I can remember. Very disappointing for a $12 burger. Shoulda went to In-N-Out for a great burger under $4.

Several years ago a group of us used to meet each Saturday morning for JB's outstanding breakfast buffet. Even marginal buffets are hard to find around Mesa, but JB's was really over the top. Everything was up-to-the-minute fresh and hot. Then I made the innocent mistake of returning for lunch a few weeks ago. A lousy, minimal lukewarm soggy burger, cold fries and a wilted salad was $13. It was pure garbage. The waitress said it came with a side of guacamole, which turned out to be a small bowl of shredded lettuce with a small spoonful of guac painted over the top. She offered bleu cheese for the salad but when I asked for it, she just shouted, "It'll be a few minutes, I've got other customers to wait on!" So I waited until I was sure she wasn't coming back, then went to the front counter to ask for the bleu cheese. I was handed a tiny bowl with a ranch and sour cream blend. It was not edible. Unfortunately, JB's is not alone. This is only one of several putrid meals I've had recently from local restaurants I used to adore and trust and patronize frequently. But thanks to greed and narcissism on the part of the owners, the list of places I will never return keeps growing. Raising prices is one thing. Maybe that's inevitable, but you don't need to substitute crap and slop for food, just so you can further cheat by feeding them garbage, too. If you're that desperate, shut it down and go shovel fertilizer at a pig farm where you belong.

Every other weekend we’ve been coming here for their breakfast buffet. Very good food for the price. They have your basics such as scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, French toast, pancakes, cereal etc. One of the things I love is that they have country fried steak and gravy. Not many places do unfortunately. Country fried steak is a breakfast staple!Service is friendly, and we are always seated promptly. Even with the weekend brunch rush, this place manages to keep everything well stocked and in order. If something isn’t, they even say to let them know so they can get it for you quick. Always a pleasure dining here, and will continue to do so!

We had breakfast, place was busy, waitress was great, manager kept helping everyone he could. Food was great. Sad there is only 1 location. We will be back.

This is the best place to which my family have been all year! The service and foods was just superb. We was seated quickly and the waitress came by right away to introduce us to the magnificent selection of food items. My family and my 2 sons love this place the owner and his staffs superb friendly very good service. Brilliant! The waitress was so kind and sweet, always making sure everything was going well (it was!). I'd give this place 10 stars if I were able to! The food and atmosphere were delightful, and we cannot wait to return. Thank you to the owner great place ???☺️

The food was good, but the server, me and my family had, wasn't that great. For example they hardly checked on us to see if we needed refills for the drinks, and another example is when we got our food from the server, which took about 25 minutes to get the food to us, only stopped by once, and that was when we got our food, and asked if we needed anything else, (which we did) but when they came back they only gave us the ticket and didn't give us what we needed like more napkins and a refill. It wasn't until we spoke to a different server to get us our stuff and when we discussed what happened to the another staff member, (I don't know if they we the owner or manager) they just gave us a mediocre excuse as to why, which was that there was a lot of people they have to serve. Other than that, the food was good but the vegetable could have been more warmer, and it could have been better if the service was better.

We have a group "Sacred Spiral Pagan Church" that was meeting there every second Wednesday before the pandemic and started meeting again January 2021. (We have been on their schedule since then.) The last meetup was scheduled on February 9th 2022 at 6pm -8pm. The servers told guests that arrived before I arrived at 6:02 that the meetup was not on the schedule and told them to leave. There were four of us who came after 6:00. We managed to get water and menus but could not get anyone to take our orders. They close at 8. At 7:15 the cook started cleaning the buffet area. At this time there was only a table of 2 besides us in the entire restaurant and the servers (there were two of them) were still claiming to be too busy to take our order. They were extremely rude.( I feel it may have been personal because of our Pagan Spirituality.) I will never eat there again and my church group will find a new meeting place.

Dined in and had myself a sourdough burger, food was tasty, meat was cooked as ordered. I was also seated, had my order taken, and food out to me rather quickly, especially with how busy they already were.

Chicken sandwich was great but who eats the of a tomato WTH, yeah I got a $3.00 discount but rather have a better slice. I've been there for breakfast many times and that was good.

We are from out of town and this is THE best place to eat around here.. They give you a lot of food. Salad bar. Breakfast bar on the weekends and very friendly workers.

The service was excellent and the food very good. Went with friends. The decor is antiquated but has a certain charm that good eats places have. Apparently will renovate soon. The waitresses are the best in town. Recommend this place for sure. Is the buffet still available on the weekends and what time frame?
