I had a gift card and wanted to use it at Macayo's. It's difficult to process this card. Macayo's staff/manager went out of their way to get it to work, figure it out, and did so in a totally helpful, pleasant fashion. I was really pleased and appreciated their effort and energies expended. I got my take out ordered and left. The whole experience was very positive. Really great customer service!

Every food item may have has some sort of hot spice in it. My girlfriend does not like that, so I unfortunately would not be eating here anymore. Also, we both do not like the water. It apparently is using Mesa City water which is terrible. They need purified

I've ordered here so many times and when it's done right it's good but this has happened a couple times where I order the Baja chimi and where is the red sauce?!? It only had the white sauce on both the chicken and the beef. I've attached photos so you can follow along. This isn't the first time it's happened but I'm a fairly forgiving person so I keep coming back here. For the price I paid tonight $21/per dish, not sure if I'll order here anytime soon. Rice was also undercooked and crunchy.

The "birthplace" of the chimichanga. It better be good...it was. Too bad that was the only thing. Beans tasted like burnt matter. Rice had little taste. Homemade hot sauce tasted like runny tomato paste. Margaritas have to be great here right? If Koolaid made a margarita flavor this would be it. I decide to order another, but this time top shelf hoping to redeem this place and it was very bitter. Both drinks tasted like it came from Applebees. Service was slow. She used the table next to us to drop stuff off. Did not see how we were doing after we got our food. So yeah; not impressed.

This is for the Superstition Springs Macayo's. This is for their delivery of their food. They have almost *NEVER* gotten the order right!!! Only a couple of times (when we could actually put a comment to double-check the order bc it keeps getting screwed up, which you can no longer do) has it happened. Far more orders have gotten screwed up. I'm soooooooooo *DONE* with delivery. Disgusted. It's not that flippin' hard to get an order correct. They literally have ~ 95% failure rate. *DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THIS RESTAURANT* unless you're prepared in advance for a huge disappointment.

For this to be the birthplace of the chimichanga, we were slightly underwhelmed! I will point out that service was amazing and the restaurant was clean. We just didn't enjoy our food as much as we thought we would. We may try a different location when we're in the area again.

One of a number of locations in the greater Phoenix area, it offers standard fare for what is a chain restaurant. Service was great, staff going out of their way throughout our stay.

Have not had one good experience besides the pleasant workers at this restaurant. Really recommend supporting the new QC location more. They are having major supply issues that are impacting the overall experience.

The co2 was down, tap wasn't working right, our soda of choice was out. The chips we more soggy and lacked salt. It was hard to get water refills. A bartender who wasn't our server was the one that seemed to help us because our actual server avoided coming our way until it was time to give the check. Fajita steak was good but the chicken was cold and dry. I tried to be mindful of the fact that it's new but to see it fairly bust, with no management, nothing working and some staff who spoke out loud about not wanting to be there and showing it by the way they were with their customers and I felt for them because I didn't want to be there either.
