Our family visited Macayos for a lunch and enjoyed the food. The cheese crisp app was perfectly cooked. The #enchiladas #chimichanga and #burritos were great! The service was a bit slow which is the only reason I'm leaving 4 stars instead of 5.Vegetarian options: They have a California burrito that is fully vegetarian. They also have Chile rellenos that are vegetarian and they are clearly marked on the menu.Parking: Ample parking in a shared parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with creat your own tacos, quesadillas. Coloring and crayons.

We got there the host seemed disinterested. We sat down at our table it was so unstable. The place was dirty. Tge food was only meh. This place has really gone downhill. Won't go to this one again. Waiter was fantastic though.

Wooo hoo!! Great service at the Macayo’s at Dobson & Baseline. My husband and I have been going to this location for years. For a LONG time service has been terrible but they have turned it around with Eli and the current manager. Great job!

As an AZ native, Macayos is our spot when we don't want to cook Mexican food. This one is awful! Had my bday dinner there. Everyone's food came cold. Even after requesting it to be re-heated, it came back cold. My friend had a HAIR in her sour cream. She requested a new dish of sour cream and the waiter left with it and brought the SAME one back. Hair and all. I was so grossed out that it came back to us, that I couldn't even eat. We will never go to this location again. The main location in Phx or the Warner Rd locations only.

Everything was pretty great, though there was a staff member who, at the would make rude back handed comments about customers (mind you there was only 6 people in the bar area) when he would come back to the bar. If I recall, the other server called him Nick, who is the guy in the plaid shirt.
Good Mexican restaurant. Nice white cheese Baja sauce. Cheese enchalladas very flavorful. Limited seating by the lake. Friendly. The carnitas are excellent, the chicken enchiladas are somewhat dry with no flavoring on the actual chicken. Beef tacos are ?Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten sensitive menu and a vegetarian menu

Dined in with my parents who are visiting from Montana. The food and service were perfect. I work in food service as well so I’m pretty picky but Candice was great. My mom’s spoon was sharp and she cut her lip a little. They threw the spoon away and gave us a free dessert. The manager on duty was very sweet and attentive. Will definitely be back :)
