We ordered the dimsum around 4pm, it tasted old and so different from the photo on the review. The duck was good, the food was hot and slightly on the bland side.Service was okay, we were rushed to order our food. The speaker was bad, loud and had bad noise.

My family and I were so excited to try dim sum for the first time. Mekong palace had a good rating and was mentioned in an article as one of the top 4 dim sum restaurants in the area. The food was absolutely disgusting. The noodles were dry. All of the food was very flavorless and looked nothing like the pictures we saw online. We even found a mosquito on our fried rice. With all of the food that we didn't eat, you would think that someone would question why we didn't get to go boxes. That goes to show how bad their customer service was as well. We left still hungry and ended up paying $70 for the worst food we've ever had.

Excellent din sum and good staff to serve. We loved the leek and shrimp combo. We never saw that before. Lots of choices, all hot. We ate at 1115, earlier is better with dim sum. We saw hanging duck and pig hesd so authenticity does not frighten folks away. We enjoyed lotus leaf rice. Be sure to visit the grocery store at the opposite end of the marketplace. Many other shops to visit. For great dim sum stop here 1100Am or earlier.

I love the hot green tea served, but the food was typical Chinese food you can find other places. Very limited dim sum items to choose from but these few they had were good quality. Overall the place is okay.

Great authentic dim sum, especially in the Phoenix area. They use the carts so it's legit!

Pros:+ authentic (enough) food+ fresh and hot food+ true dim sum carts+ menu has many options+ many Chinese cantonese guests+ reasonable priceCons- small portions- limited selection on carts- very busy on weekends- inattentive staff (makes it more authentic?)SummaryGreat dim sum place in a heavy Asian concentrated area. Busy but worth it.

This has got to be the worst dim sum I have ever eaten in my entire life! In traditional dim sum restaurants, the carts are supposed to come around frequently, but unfortunately, only two carts made their way to our table. One of them carried a limited selection of meat options, and the other offered just one bowl of chow mein and two bowls of broccoli. I don't eat meat, so only the veggie cart was the only choice. Since the carts didn't have much to offer, we ended up getting one of each item. We waited for 30 minutes, but nothing else was brought out. Needless to say, we were extremely dissatisfied. To make matters worse, at $35, we received only a small amount of veggies and chow mein to share. To be fair, we were there around 3pm. We probably got left overs from the lunch rush, so there weren't much to offer. Regardless, it was a terrible dim sum. Not worth $35. I won't return or recommend this place.

Solid Dim Sum Place in Mesa, coming from New York City this place can't compare but in the Phoenix area, this is as good as it gets for traditional Cantonese food.
