The bread here is wonderful and to me that is crucial in a Bánh Mì. I used to frequent Lees but now I prefer here. I work at home now and don't go out for lunch. I really miss frequenting this place.

I love there special combo sandwiches. I go there often when possible.*should of token some stars out for this, how could it be possible that a bread shop runs out of bread. It's Tuesday, 2 hours before closing time and they tell me they have 0 sandwiches to sell cuz bread are sold out. My only complaint, stop selling out, make more.

I have had Mekong Sandwiches bookmarked for a few years and finally got one of their sandwiches a few weeks ago. We usually go to the Mekong Marketplace for a different restaurant, but on that day, the wait was a bit long, and I needed a quick bite to hold me over till our table was ready. It did not disappoint. Mekong Sandwiches is the most suggested spot for a bahn mi whenever someone asks for recommendations in a Facebook group. For good reason. It's quick and tasty. I'm sure many would agree that bread is a significant factor when getting a bahn mi, and their bread is light and crispy. I ordered the grilled beef and thoroughly enjoyed each bite. One of my favorite aspects of a bahn mi is when the veggies and condiments mix into a tasty bite, and this sandwich certainly had that aspect. I recommend this spot if you're craving a bahn mi in the East Valley!

I used to work just down the street from here, and the Banh Mi sandwiches are GREAT! So is the soup. steve

I ordered the #3 with lemongrass beef no pate, it was definitely fresh and I love that. The beef portion could be a little better and mine was missing the jalapeños or they put a very small amount so that was disappointing. I also ordered the iced Thai tea with boba, it was decent - I wish I was a little stronger but again - very fresh and the boba tasted good. I loved their service, the young man at the counter was very kind and smiled a lot which I like! If you're in the area, I would recommend Mekong.

We had the 01 Mekong Special and 07 Cold Cuts and both were amazing! Probably the best banh mi sandwich in the valley! The meat to veggie ratio & pate and mayo was just right with the baguette. Service was fast and there's plenty of chairs & tables available. They also sell other food items which we'll have to try next time.

Get the Mekong Special #1 sandwich. Freshly baked bread, crisp vegetables, pork belly, head cheese and ham...with all the usual Bahn mi fixings !

I've been coming here ever since I moved here almost 4 years ago, I just never thought to write a review. I always get the thit heo nuong (grilled pork) sandwiches. I don't really order anything else besides the cha ca (fried fish roll and the cha chien (fried pork roll) to eat with my rice later, when it's available. Oh and the Chinese sausages are good too. The thit heo nuong banh mi has always been consistent and tasty. The other places I've tried tend to be extra fatty or have gristle, or never enough meat. I've had a lot of friends try this place and it's become their fave for banh mi. The only thing I would love for them to have are the banh tieu and I wouldn't have to go anywhere else.

My last Mesa stop for Banh mi. The place was packed when I first walked by to go to the Mekong Plaza. It did thin out by the time I was ready to order. Staff here make a good Banh mi that is filling, tasty and reasonably priced. Today the order was #4 Pork meat ball Banh mi and my standard #5 chicken Banh mi. You pay for your meal after ordering. Staff who take your order typically remember you and will signal you when the order is ready. Staff are super efficient and the order quickly arrived. I reheated the Banh mi sandwiches slightly with an egg roll for each of us. Yum! The roll is soft on the inside and slightly crunchy on the outside. Easy and delicious meal. Shared parking lot.
