Right at a strip mall off Baseline Rd, resides a little piece of Puerto Rico serving the staples of Puertorrican cuisine. Everything is delicious. Have you ever had an alcapurrias? Try it! Have you ever had a mofongo? Try it! If you need a spicy kick with your food ask for "pique" . Treat yourself to pasteles, you are going to love it. Millie and her family cook EVERYTHING at the restaurant, everything authentic. My only complaint is that everything is served in take out containers, even if you are eating in. Enjoy!

Millie's never disappoints! Wonderful authentic Puerto Rican food. Tastes as great as my mother in laws. God rest her soul. I told Millie I wanted to check out the kitchen to make sure my mother in law was not back there making the food. Arroz con gondules with tender pork was amazing. Tostones absolute perfection . Heading to the airport knowing we've had the best Puerto Rican food in Arizona!!

Absolutely delicious! I searched for jibaritos in the area. Millie's had the best overall reviews and the pics looked more appetizing. My jibarito was perfect, so flavorful with generous shreds of tender pork. It was sandwiched by a slightly crunchy, slightly chewy plantain. Wow! I could eat this everyday because my stomach felt so good after my meal. My husband had arroz con gandules with chicken legs, which he really liked. When we come to Mesa again, this will be our first stop. I feel bad for not posting photos but we tore into our food so fast that I forgot to take pics.

Tried a bit of everything. The plates are good especially with their hot sauce. Mofingo super good with the sauce. I was a little unimpressed with the Cuban, it was just lacking. Overall I'll be back.

Beautiful customer service and unfortunately that is what saved this to be a 3 star rating. Overall I was expecting more flavor and better chicken. I love me some fried chicken and they didn’t have that I prefer chicken over pork. The prices are ok, but for the Acapulcia I expected it to be lower in price due to it being a appetizer. The mofongo I didn’t like it they gave me 2 pork instead of the veggie one that I had ordered. I live to far to go back to the restaurant to change the incorrect item that they had given me. On that note, great atmosphere to be in, for a quick bite.

The food was just like home.. in NYC that is. LOVED the meal and my kids enjoyed eating some savory flavorful food from PR that I never seem to cook. Will be back, or will order delivery again!

This place is a hidden gem. The family that own it are so nice and the food transforms you right back to Puerto Rico.

Love this place, I try to go monthly, very consist food quality. Don't listen to the haters, most of the bad reviews you can tell are people who don't know how Puerto Rican food should look and taste. I just wish they were open everyday. Get the sweet plantains with any dish.
