Just left this place after visiting for the first time. while my friends and i ate on their patio seating, another older woman and toddler sat down a few tables away. shortly after, staff came out and proceeded to light and smoke a cigar on this patio with the toddler present. pretty gross to have a side of second hand smoke next to my orange chicken and even more than that giving second hand smoke to a child is disrespectful- let alone to paying customers and their kids. will not be coming back here as i don’t want to support inconsiderate people.
The food here is amazing just like hawaii when we go!! This is the only place where the Mac salad actually tastes

This place is one of my favorite Hawaiian dining areas. The chicken katsu with sauce is by far the best in the state. The place is very relaxing with island music playing throughout the restaurant. I always try to come here when I'm on this side of town. The staff is very friendly, and I loved the times when the owner would come out and great and talk with his patrons. And if you get a chance, I highly recommend Grandma's Chocolate Cake. It is made from scratch and taists amazing.Parking: Lots of parking and handicap accessible.
Ordered at the counter and they somehow lost my order. 25 minutes later and found out they never made it.

Delicious food always. It always fulfills my cravings. Finishing off with a pineapple dole whip pallette cleanser. The new girl working the front was super kind and inviting. Very attentive to the dining area. Love the music too.

Came here with my boyfriend as it's close by and we're trying new spots. For the price we paid it was just okay. The rice was a bit mushy, and the dipping sauce we got with our order just tasted like mayochup? We got a Dole float to share and that was the one thing I did actually enjoy. The lady who took our order was nice and very apologetic when they had forgotten our dole float and had to go ask for it after we had almost finished eating.Overall, it's pretty mid.. for around the same price there are better options to eat from. I'd probably only come back for the Dole whips hahh.

First off I just moved here two years ago. Local boy from Hawaii for 50 years. I found this place close to my son's school and thought I give it a try. The owner Moki needs to go back home and get his taste buds back. First the music you play is not Hawaiian. It's Polynesian like what they play at the Polynesian Cultural center on the north shore. Second your spicy ahi poki is mayonnaise on cubed ahi tuna and has no taste, does not taste like back home. What is the spicy taste? It's so haole style. Second your garlic chicken is not authentic, it tastes like orange chicken from Costco. Third your Kalbi ribs was ok but too small of a portion for what you charged. I paid $51 for two plates and a poki bowl. Brah you need to take it easy on your prices. If the quality of the food tasted like the real deal then ok. Sorry brah no can give you one good rating. Try again. Also your Mac salad had no taste and under cooked. Again Mac salad needs to be way better. Go back home and try come back again.

I really wanted to love and support this business, however the whole experience wasn't great. My husband and I took our two kids here, they got a kids plate, my husband got the sticky chicken, I got the garlic chicken. I ordered 1 pork bun (they're $8 each) we usually would get musubi but for one musubi it was $6. The young girl at the front was pretty rude, being obvious it was our first time there she offered no help with the menu and seemed annoyed when we had questions. The drink machine was out of ice which she forgot to replace, then when I asked her about it she seemed annoyed but went and replaced it, only to find out the people who were there before us asked her to replace it as well. We ordered dessert, and were told the pizooki takes 15 minutes so we cancelled that order. Overall the food wasn't bad however we spent $75 on dinner (not including dessert we ordered that separate) had to bus our own tables. The pork bun was freezer burned and tasted like plastic so we didn't eat the $8 pork bun. Extremely expensive for the portion you get and service. Unfortunately we will not be returning.
