I ate here for the first time today Wednesday April 18th 2024. This is Filipino food. I asked the counter lady what choices are pork with a skin on it. I really like pork skin soft or fried. She pointed out three choices and convince me to try the fried pork belly. It is fried chunks with crispy skin and tender inside. Comes with a sweet dipping sauce and also straight white vinegar, rice and pickled slivered vegetables. It cost $13. I liked it but not so much that I would order it again. Service was very cheerful and gracious by Filipina.

I can not say anything for the atmosphere because I have not been there yet, I am currently in the hospital. But my husband has been bringing me Lumpia from Wholly Grill and I just love love love they're lumpia. I can not wait to get better so I can go to this restaurant in person and try the rest of they're wonderful cuisine. So good!!! Thank you for putting a rush on my husband's order if Lumpia. I can't wait to go in myself.

Been comming here for a few years came back again after not comming here for awhile and idk if they got a new cook or changed recipes or went under new management but the food was no good. Mid at best ordered lechon and I got pulled pork with crispy skin. The dinuguan was sweet and the pork belly and pancit not a lot of flavor. Sad to see a place I've always gone to become bad but I don't think I'd come back again. Service was okay and the ambiance is in the middle of a store so nothing crazy all to be expected

I really wanted to like this place as there aren't a lot of Filipino restaurants in the area. I decided to come here for lunch and give it a try instead of the Mekong Plaza Restaurant next door which I frequent regularly. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with the food I received and I think I was also overcharged. First I'll say that the gentleman at the front was very kind and respectful, that's probably the only positive thing I have to say. The food took quite awhile to prepare, at least half an hour for a place thats supposed to a place that's akin to preprepared cafeteria food. When it finally arrived the Kare Kare presentation just looked absolutely unappetizing to say respectfully. The color was very off and the taste reflected that. The sauce and meat(which there wasn't a lot of) was a luke warm temperature and the vegetables were mushy. The taste was just very bland, the only thing with any flavor was the shrimp paste side. I also ordered a small side of pancit that was just as bad if not worst. It consisted of two different noodles both tasting inconsistent and mushy, the chicken in it was also very dry. I'm guessing that both were microwaved. It tasted so bad I ended up just eating the bland meat in the Kare Kare and threw away the pancit noodles after trying a few bites. For both these dishes and for a can of sprite I was charged almost $19. If you're thinking about this place I would save your money and either go next door to the Mekong Restaurant or order a pizza.

Disappointing. Came here on my lunch hour and they took forever to get me my food. When it did arrive it was cold. Won't be back.

Not the best palabok in town, not even close. If you want me to compare it’s not even a traditional copy cat. Palabok should have tinapa flakes, a scoop of chicharon bits, some tofu, a little of mongo sprouts, some piece of sautéed squid and must be garnish with fried garlic and chops of green onion. If we must offer this Filipino food as an attraction for our culture let’s offer it the best we can so people will keep on coming back. Let’s represent the best of ours so we will be proud of it. In fairness you have some slices of boiled egg and a couple small shrimp to go with your palabok. I can cook much much better than your chef.

Good food and priced decently. Been going here for years!Filipino restaurants are far and in between in the PHX Valley. Having a place that will appeal to most white folk because it's grilled meat is very nice to have as a suggestion. Can't go wrong with grilled meats...Pork Skewers are great. The beef can be tough, but still good (it's a thin cut). There's 3 different kinds of pork belly: Liempo (bbq, cut/chopped), Kawali (fried, big chopped pieces), Lechon (weekends only).Steamed veggies are okay. Try the eggplant salad/Talong (it's grilled eggplant, shredded, then mixed up with some stuff) or Atchara (pickled, shredded papaya and carrots). Mac Salad is sweet and creamy.

The shrimp was overcooked, the rice was mushy and super bland, the veggies also overcooked. The lumpia was decent. Considering the other options at the plaza, I won't be coming back soon.

The food is excellent, my rating is because of everything else... first, to be clear this is basically a food court situation in an Asian mall. The plates are styrofoam and the forks and spoons are plastic, this makes eating more difficult than it should be. The area was fairly clean but it's a good court with all the typical negatives. You order at the window and they bring you the food, so service isn't a big concern for them, but after walking back to the window to ask for additional soy sauce, I got a nasty look and then handed a small tub of it. I would return, the pork bbq is excellent, but I would not tip.

The food is very tasty. I went twice in one week. I order the kawali and lumpia. I also tried the adobo, the fish, and the Dinuguan. My favorite side to get is the eggplant salad. New favorite Filipino restaurant.

Food is bomb, little bit over pricey but everything is nowadays! Great little Pinoy spot if you're ever in Mekong plaza

Had the pancit, adobo and lumpia. Everything was delicious and great serving sizes. Would recommend.

Why do you serve sticky rice? Just serve the regular white rice. Also next time don’t overfry the fried pork belly. I also read another review of your place that you served sticky rice. Too late when I read it.
