My first time here today. I showed up late, but my party had already ordered for me. Was promptly greeted, offered a free soup, asked if I wanted a drink other than my water, and the rest of the meal was excellen. The waitress was there for refills (and friendly), food came out on time, and was delicious. We were a party of five and we all ordered different things, sampling each other's food, and everything was great.I'm from Scottsdale and I live there now, and I think the food scene of Tempe and Mesa is just excellent compared to Scottsdale when it comes to good food in a laid-back atmosphere.Good food, attention to detail, and good service. Five stars, well done.

Friendly environment with delicious breakfast options. I loved the pancakes with berries and whip cream! Scrambled eggs cooked perfectly well, not too runny and not too dry either. My husband enjoyed French toast with over easy eggs and crispy bacon on the side. My sister ordered the bacon waffle with berries and whip cream, and she said it was absolutely satisfying! Great service overall ? Can't wait to go back ?

As my partner and I entered, we immediately felt unwelcomed. We were seated fairly quickly and provided with water. Then nothing. Others who entered after us were greeted with a much more friendly smile. A server immediately took over a specials board, made conversation with people who came in, but she did not even glance at us. One of the servers walked right by us and began cleaning the tables. It was ultimately decided that we should leave the restaurant. We love going to family-owned restaurants because they are more comfortable and give a family atmosphere, but unfortunately this restaurant did not give us that feeling.

Been searching for a home cooked type breakfast, couldn’t find any good places in Phoenix. I used to go to The Place but they changed their recipes…ever since then I’ve been looking for a new breakfast spot.I wish I got a picture of my plate but it was so good I didn’t even think about taking a photo.Happened to be in mesa this weekend and stopped here and OMG best breakfast ever! I had the giant gooey cinnamon roll and the 2 eggs with bacon breakfast. Service was awesome, food was piping hot and fresh. Literally the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had in my life. Bacon was crispy, eggs were perfect and the hashbrowns are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! I live in Glendale and will make the 33 minute drive to eat this breakfast. I also loved that they had the option to use Apple Pay to pay for my meal. So convenient.Great food, comfy environment, awesome service and convenient. You guys have a new customer for life!

The food was great, The place wasn't noisy though they had a fair number of customers. The only knock on it I have is that the server was busy doing a lot of other things and not as attentive as she could have been. I had to ask for a coffee refill twice. Other than tbat though ut was great, and she was actually aware of her lapses and apologized, so overall, it was a good experience. I will be back.

3/10/24: Short version - clean, fast service, but felt rushed to eat quickly so they could bus the table for the next customer(s) & get us out the door.Long version: Popped in on a Sunday around 10:30 a.m., to catch up w/ a friend I haven't seen in a few months. The parking lot had plenty of spaces open which is always a bonus for me. We were seated immediately, and the server came over within seconds. As my friend and I started talking, looking at the menu, talking, menu, the server returned shortly after the last visit (I ordered the giant cinnamon roll) - we still hadn't decided on the meal though. A few minutes later she came again. The menu was pretty large and we still hadn't chosen a meal. The third time she returned we placed the order. The cinnamon roll was pretty good, but not as fluffy as I prefer. My friends pancake was, well, a pancake (there was nothing special about it that would set it apart from any other pancake out there). My lemon-filled French toast was also okay, but nothing spectacular. Because the server kept coming back, we both got the impression she wanted us out for the next in line so we packed up and left. They did have a fairly large, covered (I think) patio which was nice, but the food was simply all right, nothing to write home about.Am I glad I finally went? Yes.Would I return? Unlikely.
