Great German beer on tap. Great food and cozy family style atmosphere. If you like good German food and drink- this is the place. One of our favorite restaurants in Arizona--reminds us of a local restaurant in Schhonau am Konigssee, Bavaria.

Delicious schnitzel and bratwurst! The food is excellent, but the menu is limited to a small (but tasty) selection of schnitzel and sausages!Wait staff were friendly and fast, and very helpful! Though do be warned, that there is often a wait to get into this small restaurant! Definitely come a few minutes before they open to be able to get a spot for dinner!!

This place is such a gem! The atmosphere is wonderful if you're looking for a traditional German restaurant. The staff are warm and welcoming and the food is made to order.We ordered schnitzels, potato dumplings, and red cabbage. Everything was delicious. I haven't had good red cabbage in a long time and I'm so glad my aunt and uncle recommended this place. Between the beer and dinner we had no room left for dessert and their black forrest cake looked delicious on the table next to us. We'll definitely be back and I'll save a little room for it next time.

Ordered 3 mains to go. Whatevers going on with the kitchen needs to get better. Cabbage and kraut had no bite or flavor and was mushy. Dumpling was so so. Home fries were bland and cold. The 1 brat I received was the size of a hot dog plus a little. The cordon Bleu edible. Is Not the same and have been going for a while now. Portions are worse then school lunch program. Flavor was not there. I just don't know about service and the love of your craft. If you've fallen out of love get a divorce ! Go find something else to do.

This place has been on my list for a while. Having been to Germany multiple times and tried several German restaurants here in the states, this is definitely my favorite! Delicious food, a fun atmosphere, and overall a great time! They do charge an extra fee to pay with a card, but they are very upfront about it (it's listed on the menu and the receipt) so it's not really a problem. I had the Zwiebel Schnitzel and my friend had the Currywurst, both of which were delicious. If you're looking for some good comfort food, definitely check out Zur Kate!
