The restaurant looks to be good and we called to be sure it was open. As it turned out, the restaurant was not open and they were only serving a limited bar food menu in the bar. It was very disappointing. Absolutely nothing like the pictures.

THIS RESTAURANT IS NOT CLOSED. It is very much open, and it is awesome! The burgers are so good! And the Sidewinder Fries are absolutely amazing! Great service too. Saturday nights they have really good live music. They are under new ownership, so be patient with the upgrades. When you pull up to the parking area it appears to be in disrepair, but they are diligently working on clean up and exterior updates.

Food was great and the staff was super friendly. Hard to find a good restaurant this far out sometimes by they have not disappointed. We have stopped here twice now. Will return again.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it appears to be closed for good. It wasn't open all last year and it still isn't. The most recent review was Nov 2019.
No plan to stop here, but we needed a lunch break on the back road to Tucson and this was right on the right track. You can always judge a western/cowboy restaurant by its chicken fried steak and this one was outsanding in every way. Service was quick and professional and who could resist sitting next to a Tom Mix movie poster? If you're in ths neighborhood, come on in.
