260 cafe is always a solid choice for breakfast all day and lunch. My favorite item on the menu is the rainbow omelet (photoed here). The veggies and any fruit (on the side) is always fresh and never caned. Hash browns are always crisp and we always leave so full. The service is always friendly and small town diner vibe where the coffee keeps on coming (best spot in the house is at the kitchen bar).Kid-friendliness: Order the hot chocolate and your kids will love it. This came recommended from the woman across the street in the antique shop while my wife and I were up for a day trip.Food was great, but atmosphere was the icing on the cake. You get the feeling of entering a diner from the old days. This is a great little stop to hit. Slammed on the weekends and easier to get into on the week days. Food is really good. I had eggs, hash browns and biscuits n gravy. My bf had eggs, hash, toast, fresh fruit and coffee. Servers are super friendly. They even welcomed my service dog with friendliness. To Which he kindly returned by falling asleep next to me. Lol.
