"Not the best time at your resturant"My family and friends recently ate at your Peoria restaurant and was greatly dissatisfied with our service and quality of food (Tuesday the 19th at 7pm). First off our server was exceptional, it was our teppanyaki chef that needs a refresher in customer etiquette and service. It all started when we sat at the bar to wait for the rest of our party to arrive and was told that there was not a bartender and that our server would be getting our drinks, all good with that (however during spring training I dont understand why you as a business owner would not have a bartender on staff for the night). With that our drink service was very slow because of the restaurant being short staffed, again nothing bad on our server she worked with what she had. Now onto our teppanyaki chef he came to our table and began to ask us nicely about our orders, I proceeded to tell him that we did not want the mushrooms added to the fried veggies. He then left (in a snit) and went into the back to remove the mushrooms from the plate. It is now 8pm and our food was being upheld even longer as he did not return for another 15 minutes. We dont think our request was that big of a deal being that we were a large party. When he returned he began cooking our meals and looked like he did not want to be there cooking for us. He seemed to rush through the cooking, we didnt get the same entertaining teppanyaki chef that we have had in the past. I have heard that there is another teppanyaki restaurant down the street from you I think I and my friends and family will be going there. Thank you

This place is always great. Service can be a bit dodgy but not enough to cause concern or enough for complaint. The food is always solid and the quality great. If you have a big party make sure to make a reservation and show up all together so you aren't waiting but they don't great job of getting you in and getting you going if you're on the grill. Definitely check this place out, you won't be disappointed ?

Well not even sure what to write here. I usually don't like to complain or leave a bad review but this place said it closes at 10 PM. My Boss and I were wanting sushi and every single sushi bar in the area closes at 9 PM. This place said they're open till 10 PM so we get there at 9:10pm and the doors were locked. However we found our way in through the exit door off the patio and the restaurant was about 2/3 to 3/4 full and we were instantly greeted by a rude staff member saying that the Kitchen is closed. I said it says it open till 10pm She said they shut down the kitchen 45 mins prior to 10pm. We arrived five minutes before that. Apparently they don't need the business! I can't really leave a review on how good it was because we never even got to try the food and I most likely will never ever ever ever try their food, I can see why they have 2.7 stars. I'm in business for myself and I'd NEVER deny more business. SMMFH Hopefully anyone that was there that night witnessed our embarrassing encounter & sees this review and chimes in and hopefully doesn't support this place ever again! I could leave zero stars I would.

I had such a fun time here with my family. I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was not very busy. The waiter was young but so polite and on point. Food was amazing as always. Highly recommend the Viva Las Vegas roll....I think thats what its called. Superb! Also the orchids are delicious ;) Thanks for a great time and awesome memories.
Honestly I'm shocked this place has so many positive reviews. The chef seemed entirely disinterested, barely interacted, all the staples that are highlights of a teppanyaki expirience were missing. The amount of eggshells in the eggs he cooked would have put a toddler to shame. Forgot my order entirely, and had to walk away from the cooking food 3 different times to get things he forgot. I've had less than stellar expiriences at other locations before before so I kept it simple and ordered a shrimp dinner. I don't know how it's possible to burn shrimp as badly as he did but it was just sad. Another person had undercooked chicken breast she wasn't able to eat, the lobster looked absolutely butchered. Rice and veggies were flavorless. Even the soup at the start just tasted like boiled water with an after thought of mushroom flavor. Most disappointing teppanyaki expirience ever.

This used to be one of my favs. I passed about 3 sushi places in my neighborhood to come here. The happy hour was incredible but I went back last weekend and they don’t have happy hour anymore. So I will probably go to a restaurant much closer that offers happy hour. I go out to dinner a lot so saving some cash allows more dining plus it is just odd for a restaurant to not offer it to their customers.

Came in to dine, have heard great things about this establishment. I’ve had better service at a McDonald’s drive-thru our food was room temperature. Shrimp was dry, chewy and very salty the gyozas were cold the shrimp shumai was cold. waitress was disinterested.

Had dinner last evening Jan 8th. The restaurant was freezing! People were sitting with their coats on. We waited quite a long time waiting for two simple meals so we decided to take them home. First there were not any vegetables in the vegetable fried rice. My chicken was so dry I couldn't finish it. I understand if the restaurant was short-staffed but the quality of the food was horrible, especially for the price. We will never return there.
