I am a newer owner and while I like the layout, I feel like the staff is rigid and inflexible. Also, the layout in the rooms does not make sense in some ways. The toilet is literally right next to the corner of the sink countertop, so when you sit down your back hits the corner and it is hard to sit comfortably on the throne, so to speak. then the light switches to the bathroom are on the hallway side of the bathroom and not on the bedroom side, so if you are entering from the bedroom you have to walk across the bathroom in the dark to turn on the light. They convinced me to do a class on labor day at 11 and told me that I could get a late checkout. But when I called to get a late checkout they told me that they were not doing any late checkouts due to the holiday (which makes no sense since the rush would be over and everyone would be checking out and you would then have a more staggered rush, unless you don't want the hassle of actually managing a site the way literally EVERY OTHER HOTEL/SPA does and allows late checkout). Very disappointed. I was embarassed to say I was an owner at this location to my friend.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. There were two minor issues, one small cleanliness in the bathroom (a hairclip on the shower curtain from a prior guest and a hair on the wall) and one random charge from another guest. The staff was friendly and the grounds well maintained. Only bigger issue for me was the windows had to stay closed the whole stay (I do not with to look into the hallway or have passing guests look in)... I generally expect windows on the outside of the unit - view may not be great but it's a usable window.. with the layout of the building that was not the case for us. That said, other units did have reasonable windows so it just depends what room you get. The location is nice - food and shopping not too far.. some decent hiking though some trailheads very difficult to find. It's also a reasonable distance from Sedona for a day trip if you haven't been out that way. Liked that had the option of an adult only pool and bar. We did not go to the spa but the options looked nice, just didn't make the time. Overall, from other timeshare locations we've been too - was pleasantly surprised by Bluegreen and would certainly recommend.

This is our first visit to the area and was very surprise with how nice the resort was. Wish it was not under construction. Maybe will visit it again after construction is completed. It was conveniently located to all the shops and restaurants. Great on-site amenities. Nice family getaway spot.

A beautiful, family friendly resort tucked in the desert. They have a great pool and a fun slide as well. It's close enough to major stores and some great restaurants. It's well maintained and very clean.

Zero stars. Need to refurbish your customer service. Poor management. Your receptionists and sale team for timeshare are not worthy. If you cannot improve in customer service, don’t continue with your resort business. The place is far subpar.

We love this resort, with the attention to detail in all aspects of the facilities, the staff, & the amenities. There are no others to compare it to. Iyou would expect a natural relaxation of services & physical plant operations, but the decade we’ve been coming to Cibola Vista is as pleasant as he first.

Great resort with beautiful grounds full of cacti, bushes and plants. Enjoyed the amenities, the adult pool was separate from the kids. The property had oversized games, cornhole and a nice gym. I loved the fire pits too! The staff (Cynthia Jones) was very nice and always friendly.

We purchased a vacation through Bass Pro. Blue green placed us off site 20 minutes away from this hotel. The off site location had one bed for the four of us. There were no other options available. We arrived for our presentation and complained about the accommodations. We were told that they would see what they could do over and over. Then we asked if we could have the amenities at the hotel but we were strung along thinking that we wouldn’t receive anything unless we would sign up for one of their vaca packages. It was high pressure sales for over three hours. We then apparently met the VP of Bluegreen who said that if we purchased he would offer us a room on site. After declining multiple steps and offers, their last resort was a sampler packet for $3k. We said that we would purchase it if we could stay for the last two nights on site. Our sales rep said absolutely not! She also tried to get us to take out a second mortgage and a home equity line of credit. Never again will I fall prey to this company. So glad we didn’t buy even the sampler package. Lesson learned.

Customer service and the resort is a joke.. we are owners and this place is a Joke don't waste you time even for the 1 hr sale pitch.. they promise you all these things to get u there and then once u denied them there attitude changes. We book a reservation then a week we get a email saying it cancelled

My complaint is with the Expedia Group partners, VRBO, EXPEDIA and RRP. Our stay was canceled due to an inability to connect the host. We booked and paid in full for our reservation at Cibola Vista in August 2022. To our astonishment, we were notified via email of a problem with our booking less than 72 hours prior to our departure. Bottom line, communication stated that 2 of the 4 nights of our reservation was unavailable. What? Depending on the 39+ emails and 10+ calls and language barriers with the agents, each call provided different status information. One told us the two nights were in a hotel another agent said they were at the resort. WHAT ABOUT OUR 4 NIGHT LODGING AT CIBOLA VISTA? I said we paid for four nights at a resort experience, not simply a place to rest our head as indicated by an agent. Since I would not agree to the two nights offered as the solution, we are now only offered two nights refund, Again, WHAT? Yes, since we didn’t check into the mysterious location, NO INFORMATION PROVIDED EXCEPT ORIGINAL 4 NIGHTS AT CIBOLA VISTA, we are considered a NO SHOW and lose two nights refund. It’s laughable. One agent from Expedia told me the entire reservation had been cancelled and she could do nothing for us. Cibola Vista and VRBO need to better the reservation system. Cibola told me this is reoccurring issue. Our entire trip was ruined. Stress, tears and no experience as ADVERTISED ON TV. Slept first night in rental car. Paid for different hot. BUYER BE WARE.

We have been here several times and it is one of our favorites! The place is clean and there is a lot to do. We did have a miscommunication with the spa but believe it was an honest mistake. We love the separate adult pool and hot tub (Complete with outdoor bar)!

Nice resort, comfy beds, well - equipped units and bonus lock-off design for a 2 bdrm which allows shared space and privacy. We got lucky with warm weather and made use of the pool area. Groceries and restaurants are within short driving distance. As a time-share exchange, the added excessive "cleaning fee" for staying less than a week is simply unjustifiable - we were expected to run the dishwasher and take out garbage upon leaving and if we had stayed a whole week, housekeeping would likely have been provided mid-week without extra fee. That on top of the endless fees for every little thing (membership, exchange, booking, etc.) have led us to put our home resort up for sale. The rating reflects this resort, not the overall experience which was soured by the endless fees. Looking forward to future travel without all the limitations and costs of timeshare. I'm sure non-timeshare guests will enjoy this resort.

This is our second visit. The first visit in Sept. 2021 was good. We had the one bedroom jr. which was small but okay for 2-3 people The only problem we had with that visit was returning to get our credit card bill with charges from the food truck which we didn't make. Took 2 month and filing a dispute with our credit card company to get it resolved. This time we first had to deal with the parking pass guy who wanted to insist that we either attend a presentation or a shorter meeting to sign off on the internet. We had put in our reservation that we did not want to be harassed by these people. We've had bad experiences in the past with their presentations. I know last year even though we did not attend they were not pushy and still gave us resort activity schedule. This time they didn't give it to us. We wondered if we weren't welcome since we wouldn't sign off on the internet. We finally just walked off. We had the same type of room as last time but this one was poorly laid out. From the couch only one person could see the tv well enough to watch it. Anyone else had to sit at the kitchen table or not watch. We had a 5 night stay and were only given 2 bath towels. I did call about that and they sent us down 2 more. We then discovered no potholders. Could have used some but we managed without. All in all its an okay place, we might go again sometime but the first experience was definitely better than the second.

I like this resort in general, but I dislike about the cleaning fees they charge an additional $90 if we stay less than one week. If we stay 7 days, then we don't pay additional $90 cleaning fees. THIS DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.
