Went out tonight to get dinner. We got there around 6:10, Ordered by 6:20. They realized our order wasn't in the system around 6:55 and we were told 15 mins and our food would be out of o our table. Waited until 7:22 and asked to pay for our drinks (a coke and a lemonade no refills) so we could leave. We were charged $7 for 2 drinks and then after we paid and were walking out they brought out our food and it wasn't made correct (severe onion allergy came out covered in onion). Then the server gave us a look as if we were the problem. We ordered 3 entrees and had 1 request for no onions. Didn't seem too difficult. The restaurant was clean and had nice lighting. If you're going to come here just order to go.

The service was excellent and the food was scrumptious... I've made it one of my new favorite restaurants even though it's a bit of a drive for me.

How do you I say, "I love you" in Thai? Best Thai food I've had in a while & this is my go-to spot. Service is always great!

Consistently good food and good amount for what you pay. Being from WA state originally I am very picky about asian food. I always go back to Tom Yum because their food is delicious. I ordered takeout so can't speak to ambiance. Their house fried rice is definitely top 3. But I have ordered curry, spring rolls (delicious) and soup and have been satisfied with all

First time visiting Tom Yum Thai in Peoria. A quaint little spot tucked away in a strip mall. Limited seating but beautiful decor with soothing background music. The crab Rangoon appetizer was awesome and they were packed with crab and a great side sauce. Maybe the best rangoons I have ever tasted. The wife ordered green curry and it was packed with food and flavor. I ordered #10 peanut sauce with pork hot (one level below Thai Hot). Although there was a delay between orders the wait was well worth it. The peanut sauce was great and the portion was large. If you like spice I would go for the Thai Hot. Overall excellent experience. FIMP "Food is my Passion"

Food was tasty, might be a one and done though as if rather experience other places, even in the area. Service was good. She wasn't the friendliest person but still did a good job. It's a nice little diner with an intimate ambiance, at least try it if you enjoy Thai.

This is a little hole in the wall place we came upon by accident. Very small inside, but good quick service or good for take out. Like tgat I can order whatever and tailor the spice level up/down how I like.

We were extremely pleased with the flavor of the food at this restaurant. It's a little small and when they open the door the cold breeze comes flying in. However, the service is very good and the food comes out quickly so you won't get too cold if you have to sit by the door. Our foursome ordered tempura sweet potato, veggie spring rolls, Tom kha kai with shrimp, spicy basil fried rice with pork, chicken pad Thai, and chicken with broccoli. It's rare that the entrées are significantly better than the appetizers at Asian restaurants but in this case they were. The sweet potato tempura was really greasy, although it was quite crispy. The thin peanut sauce that was served with it was rather lackluster. They only had veggie spring rolls none with any meat and they had a lot of bean sprouts in them which are hard to bite through so they would string out when one took a bite. They were pretty lacking in flavor and were rather pale in color although crispy. The tom kha kai soup was absolutely amazing. It had a rich, darker color compared to versions we've had elsewhere, they used about four really large Kathir lime leaves, and it had nine whole shrimp. Unfortunately, they left the tails on which is so ridiculous when you're eating a soup that you have to stick your hands in there to break off the tails! If you like this type of soup, I highly, highly recommend it. The large size was $16 and easily serve three for a nice size portion or four for a smaller portion. The spicy basil, fried rice was not spicy enough at Thai hot, however, it had really, really good wok hay, and only needed a hint of salt to make it amazing. The chicken pad, Thai was flavorful and tender, and an extremely large portion. The chicken with broccoli was also good and very mild as would be expected. If we are ever in the area, we will definitely return.

We love Thai curry dishes, theirs ok, we think if they add more coconut milk to their curry dishes, it would make a big difference, at least to our taste buds.

Great food. Busy and understaffed tonight, so service was not as attentive as usual.

Best authentic Thai food in the entire west side! Soo glad they're here because we have been following since the Surprise location. The Pad Thai, yellow curry with chicken, crab rice, sweet potatoes, chicken satay, spring rolls, cheesecake spring rolls, ok....EVERYTHING! And the service is tops! My husband and I have lived in NYC, NJ, and California...trust me, we know God food and service soo you won't regret visiting this place either. Sadly, I have been there a couple of times when customers try to take advantage of them. Honestly, if you don't like the food, bring it back. But I hate to see businesses like this go down because of the customers to try to take advantage of them, so please stop. Otherwise people who actually love them like us will lose out. Not fair. And if you love them, recommend and post about them so everyone else knows! Just amazing food, amazing service, all together, a great place! Love, love, love!! today we picked it up and brought it home to chill since it was a rainy day, so the pictures might not do it justice, not to mention we were almost done with the food when we decided to post lol enjoy and support locals! Thank you Megan and your entire crew for all you do!
