Bought the Coronavirus shaped cake to celebrate our 20th anniversary while holed up in our house. Besides looking spectacular, it tasted really good. So many times you can't get both a good looking specialty cake with outstanding flavor. Well you can here. We had the marbled cake with fudge icing middle. Buttercream is what she uses on the outside to create this masterpiece. The cake was moist and heavenly, almost like a buttery pound cake. The fudge filling was legit. And the buttercream did not taste waxy at all! This cake made a lot of people smile via me texting pics of it to family and friends. This in turn, made us smile and our 20th wedding anniversary in "lockdown" so much better.

These days you need remote services more and more, and Whisked provided me with plenty of choices for my brother's 60th birthday cake surprise and delivered it to his workplace with no problem, easy peasy and a VERY fair price. For our anniversary, we celebrated with a wonderful cake. My wife surprised me with this. I never saw it coming.The cake itself had an excellent chocolate flavor, great crumb, was incredibly moist and a good mouth feel. The frosting was buttercream and was really tasty for a frosting with coloring in it. That means she uses quality coloring and probably not the same stuff you color Easter eggs with. Terrific texture and I assume a merengue powder for stiffness as well as it held up out of the refrigerator. Maybe a Swiss merengue, but I've not asked yet.It looked incredible. Height of lockdown during COVID-19 and my wife has her make a cake that looks like the Coronavirus. Thank you so much for this and the cupcakes. It was wonderful.
