This is hands-down the best Ethiopian food in Phoenix! Flavors are so complex and developed. We're vegetarian, so we usually go for the veggie combos and lentil sambusas. The ambience is friendly and warm, and there's an extra eating area with Mesob basket tables for a more communal and intimate setting. My husband and I enjoy this spot for date night, and my daughter loves eating with her hands. For an extra treat, try the coffee ceremony. We're not Ethiopian, but we just love this spot. Went for dinner to try a new place. My partner got an Ethiopian beer and I tried the honey wine. The wine was light and not too sweet. We each got a different lamb dish which came with plenty of Ethiopian bread. It was delicious and filling and a lot of food for the price. There is even a small shop at the back that sells shirts and other things. Highly recommend

the experience here was awesome, the person working at the time (I'm sorry I didnt catch her name) was so sweet and welcoming! the atmosphere was bomb! the music and lights were so comfortable and the food was incredible! the Kimeme tea iz awesome, the Papaya juice was so delicious it could have been the dessert! I and my friends definitely intend on coming back here in the future! more people should know this restaurant

Came with friends for dinner. Interior is dim but lit by LED lights with East African decor on the walls. At the time we were there, the restaurant was empty and waited by a nice lady who was helpful, although it took a while. We ordered the Absynnia Signature, which came with generous servings of injera and their multiple vegetable and meat offerings. Stand out dishes were the Doro wat and lamb tabs. The experience of eating with friends and with our hands was enjoyable. We would definitely come again, but with more people.
