Bahn Mi Bistro special Bahn Mi had all the right amount of flavors. I liked it with the peanut sauce which came along with a side of spring rolls. I slurped it all down with Taro milk tea. Will recommend this!

I used to be a big fan of this place and have recommended to countless people. Yesterday we got our usual order and the spring rolls were malformed and had to be eaten with a fork. I only ate half of my sandwich as usual. Both my son and I got food poisoning from this meal. I was willing to put up with the rolls being made by someone who either doesn’t know what they’re doing or doesn’t care but getting sick is a different story. Not sure if I can go back to this place, as much as I like it. Their food is fresh (veggies uncooked, etc.), so this requires trust that proper food handling is taking place and they have now lost my trust.

- I got the noodle salad bowl with shrimp and pork spring rolls. It was my first time trying this dish and was not disappointed! It tasted very fresh and light but also filling. While I lived in Phoenix, this was my go to spot for years.Just visited again today after moving to L.A. and I have to say, this spot is the best place in the entire United States.I have tried James Beard award winning restaurants, places The NY Times says are the best.. it’s all lies.This place is hands down the best place to get a Banh Mi, it’s quite a shame there is only one location.Anytime I visit Phoenix, I come here religiously before I go anywhere else.
