So, so good just very, very small but my friend got us a spot when I came down to Phoenix! Honestly I have really low opinions of most Arizona places but this one is HIGH! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious

Food is good. The tostadas are epic. They're crunchy, corny, and have excellent texture. The restaurant is tiny, which may explain why it's so difficult to get a reservation. Music is a bit too loud.

Simply great! Authentic Mexican food and this from a guy who comes from El Paso Texas.

After a lot of waiting, I had the opportunity to try Bacanora last week. If you're wanting to make a reservation yourself, they open up the first of the month at 9am for the following month. Reservations go quick and are booked up within minutes so be quick and flexible on times! The ceviche is a delicious and unique starter that is made with Hiramisa, a type of yellowtail fish that is very tender and not overly fishy. The sauce was to die for and I could have eaten it over and over again. The Caramelo was both of our favorite and had a tender, delicious carne asada with fresh toppings on it. I also liked the marinade on the Costilla Asado (Short ribs), and thought the meat held the juicy flavor really well. The staff were helpful and kind and made this experience very easy and enjoyable.

Great service but Mediocre food. I usually never leave reviews but this horrible experience inspired me to do so. The restaurant is extremely overhyped due to the long waiting list, however upon actually visiting it the food was not good at all. Very bland and below average. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The prices were extremely high for what was served and the wine Rosso that we had was $17 a glass (the prices were not mentioned either for glasses, just bottles) and was so bad we could not drink much and ended up paying for it anyway to not make a sense, but was frankly unbearable. Do not waste your time with this place. I usually have a positive outlook on everything and try to look past flaws but this was just an utter disappointment.

Very disappointed. I was super excited when I finally got a reservation. But the restaurant did not live up to all the hype. We started off with elote and mushroom al pastor. Elote was very dry and lacked flavor. Mushroom was good. Then we ordered cucumber salad and pork belly. Both were extremely salty. Pork belly was very hard and again very very dry. It was overcooked. Had to send both the dishes back and we asked for the check. I have never been in an out of a restaurant this quick. Extremely disappointed. However our sever was very good and was very helpful

It can be a bit of a hassle to get a reservation, but it's a fun restaurant in a unique part of town.

The food was alright and same with service. The atmosphere was good though. Personally I thought that this place was wayyy overrated. I don’t like how there is only a 90 minute time limit and I wasn’t informed until I had 15 minutes left and they practically threw me out. Wouldn’t recommend.

Extremely cute. Good is amazing. The hospitality is great, they gave my boyfriend and I free champagne for our anniversary. I will safe the reservations are booked but we got lucky by setting our notifications on the resy app. We ended up getting at 9:46pm reservation so everything they had on the menu was out but we had the ribeye and burrito.. sooo good. My boyfriend had a non alcoholic drink called teapes I could be spelling it wrong but it was sooooo good.

Amazing start to finish. Great and prompt service that felt individually tailored. Drinks are fresh, unique, and cold - probably the best margarita I’ve had. My husband and I shared the bone marrow elote and charred cabbage to start. Both were tasty but the charred cabbage was out of this world and I’ll be thinking about it for a long time! We had the carne asada tostada and pork belly for entrees - both equally delicious with super fresh tortillas and tostadas. We split the chocolate jalepeño flan for dessert. Well worth the wait for the hard-to-come-by reservation and can’t wait to go back!

Came here a while back for a date night with my husband. It's actually a pretty small restaurant with only about 10-15 tables inside. Everything smells soo good inside, we were excited to try this place upon entering. The elote and charred cabbage apps were delicious. My husband really enjoyed his short rib entree and I had the ceviche as my entree and it was delicious. We didn't get the tomahawk but have heard that it is phenomenal - the presentation was quite impressive. We really enjoyed our evening here!
