I enjoy Chompies! We used to go to the Shea location for breakfast all the time but have been frequenting the Cactus location more recently and it does not disappoint. My partner had the Pastrami breakfast bagel sandwich and I had the La Jolla Salad. They were very accommodating in changing our seating as well when a big party was being seated right next to us.
I'm absolutely shocked at the negative reviews! We went for breakfast on a Friday morning. The place on E Cactus is beautiful and spacious, there was a zero wait for a table, and our waitress was very attentive, informative and friendly. The food was great and cooked just the way we like. We will return!

The food is everything you'd want. I go several times a month with a friend on Friday nights. We rotate different places, but Chompie's is our favorite. I get the soup & sliders because I love their pastrami and chicken soup is good for you! The latkes, the pickles, the bagels, the lox....so good.The staff is always on their game and a special shout out to Sam who is, somehow, always in a good mood.
