Very good barbecue at a good price. When I came here, they were not busy at all. They have a good selection of food and sides to go with the main dishes. When I ordered, the staff were friendly and the food was done really quick. The beef brisket is great and flavorful. The grilled andouille sausage is great and I like it charred on one side. The smoked fried chicken is really good. They smoke it and then they deep fry it quickly at the end so it's extremely juicy and the skin is perfectly crispy. For the sides, the fried okra is cooked perfectly and the mac and cheese is extremely cheesy.Overall one of the best barbecue places that I've been to in Arizona and I would definitely come back.

This is O.K. if you want to pick it up, but the place is in need of a good overall cleaning. It is a shame because this could be the place it once was.

After several meals, it's just average and makes me sick unlike other BBQ joints.

Wow what an experience. This would be the second time I've dined here, once when they first opened which was good, this time... not so much. Where to start? For two "one meat plates" for lunch and two drinks, $40 is a LOT for the portions we received. The brisket was maybe lukewarm, the Mac & cheese was boiling hot so if you average the two I guess we met county health department food temp standards. Had anyone asked how the food was, I'd have mentioned it. Mac & cheese was runny and other than blisteringly hot pretty much less than memorable. The corn muffin was dry, not sure if it was made on site but it was one of the better things on the plate. The portions overall were not a value proposition for $20 a plate. If you come hungry, plan to stop at Bosa Donuts on the way out. We did. On the subject of health standards, I'm hoping the two large pieces of meat sitting uncovered on the counter from the time we came in (and still there when we left) was being discarded. Can't be sure, but my plate was not cut from it at least. Honestly had I walked past the register when I came in, I'd have turned and left based on cleanliness. The walls and floor... slippery and dirty. Open kitchens are nice, provided there aren't dirty pans and trash everywhere. My girlfriend went to use the restroom and it was horrible. Paper products not stocked, but rolls sitting on top of the dispensers. Looked like the fixtures had not been cleaned in some time. I'm really hoping the health department has this one on their list, no gloves, saw no handwashing at any time by staff. Oh and if you like Diet Coke, that option was out... at 1 pm on a Saturday, the second busiest day for restaurants. Steer clear of this place, it's a ripoff and a food-borne illness waiting to happen. Hopefully not to us.

All you need to know is I had to eat my ribs with a fork and knife. The meat was so fall off the bone perfect. The BBQ sauce is delicious as well as all the sides. The staff really cares about their food. It's a super low key restaurant but the food was amazing.

Very Friendly individuals. Food was good. Nice flavor. Small restaurant in a plaza. Loved the music. Definitely need to spend a little quality time cleaning a tad too dirty and rundown for my taste.

Great bbq and sides! Atmosphere could use some help, but who goes to a BBQ place for atmosphere, other than that unmistakable smokey aroma? Don't miss the bbq beans, as tasty as any I've had!
