This was our first time visiting here per Reddit reviews and let me tell you this is definitely a great place to bring someone for a date! The ambience gave a speak easy date night. Michael was VERY attentive and personable. The food was hot, presentable and good however the steak was a little tough to eat. Oh yea heads up, if your a Jack drinker they charge you for the coke instead of putting it has a Jack and coke like most places.

Can't say enough about this place. I was blown away with the atmosphere, food, and cocktails. I had a bloody Mary which I'm very picky about, and the bartender made it perfect. The food was out of this world!

Local place serving Southwestern food but specifically New Mexican style. This hot spot is always crowded. The brunch on the weekends is excellent with many choices. This time I had the Carne Asada Enchiladas. It’s a huge serving that also comes with two eggs, hash browns in 3 types, beans and a freshly made hot n fresh tortilla. Others had the breakfast burrito and the Jalapeño Huevos Rancheros. They also had a Peach Margarita as a drink special which is delicious! Seating is limited and the bar is always full. They call it Dick’s Hideaway for a reason. IYKYK!Parking: There are a limited number of spots in the front and along the side but more parking in the back of the building.
For new Mexico food they are limited. I don't see stuffed sopapillas tewa tacos Christmas breakfast burritos new Mexico style frito pies. I'm from California my wife was from Espanola New Mexico. I feel in love with the food there. I usually go to Gils Taste of Taos located on Bell road. But I will try this place soon.
