“We hadn't been here (or in PHX) for years, but it remains for us, what I'd call, a friendly oasis. On the Wednesday afternoon we were there (2 hours), Bartender Jamie was friendly , attentive and provided useful Phoenix info for us. The pricing is reasonable, the indoor and outdoor spaces were spotless, and we had good time with Jamie and other customers. BH was the perfect stop for us on a hot afternoon. We'll be back.“
“Was on my way to another bar when me and my friend noticed this place with all there lights and decided to check it out had no clue it was a lgtbq bar and omg this place is amazing one of the best patio set ups I’ve seen this place has such a great theme throughout and the bouncer is one of the nicest people you’ll meet overall the bartender I had was super sweet as well and we were served pretty fast for it being really packed I love this place I plan to come more often now such a vibe I recommend coming for a drink“
“Cute place. Had a drink with a friend and it’s a cute little gayborhood bar. Has darts and a good sized bar. Service was a little slow the night I was there but they were trying so I gave them points for that. I’d come back. Cozy and a local hangout it looks like. Parking is terrible though.“
“This used to be the local hang out. I’ve moved away and don’t frequent this place like I used to. …..now I visit when in town on business.Kudos to the new owner for updating a few things but to be honest I really miss the old vibe and the old bartenders.Every holiday there were decorations galore… does this no longer happen?I will return in the future but really did prefer the eclectic dive bar atmosphere it once had.“
“Fun with a capital F! The reviews, and website are correct, all are welcome. They have drag shows followed by karaoke. I showed up for karaoke. It was a blast. They are busy so the rotation is long so if you are looking to sing a lot, you may be disappointed, but the atmosphere and the people make it worth just hanging out. There are two sections. One for the bar and the other for the the stage. It's is in the back. There is not table service during karaoke so make sure to grab your drink before you head back to grab a table to wait your turn to have your off, off, off, off, off Broadway debut. Have fun, drink responsibly.“
“a spectacular place, one of the best here in Phoenix Arizona, except that last Sunday, January 7, 2024, I went at night with a friend to have some beers, the bartenders who are there daily who offer magnificent service were not there, there was a man Fat man who used to work at the Newton bar and just because my friend didn't order the beer in English, he discriminated against him with a racist gesture and he didn't sell him the beer, something that happens for the first time. I hope it doesn't happen again because everyone there pays and tips well. It is for us gays that there should not be those inconveniences, thank you and I hope you take action on the matter, happy start to the week.“
“I've only been here once which was recently. I attended the All White theme party which was pretty cool. I liked the grass wall, white couches and big chandeliers but the dance floor was tiny and the bathroom is small/kind of dirty. Overall it was a good time!“
“The DJ was killing it last night! This is a small venue and the bartenders were doing an admirable job of trying to keep up with the drinks. A mix of older and younger patrons last night and definitely felt like a safe gay space. No go go dancers Saturday night (didn’t see this in other reviews) and don’t know if they needed them. The crowd was great and I’d come back again and again.“
“Lesbian bar. Dancing area and patio. They have a NA beer, and of course sodas. Wish there was an actual mocktail menu but you could ask the bartender to mix something up. Came during the day. Love that they opened at 2pm since we are old ladies that don't stay up late anymore ?Street parking is kind of limited so be prepared to walk a couple blocks. Not bad. Will be back.“
